Not to be picky or anything, but it's 240V. And I don't do field work, generally. Plus we aren't licensed in the State of Utah.

I thought it was 220-240v. Everything I read has 220-240v.

That just means that it needs a min. of 220V (or 110V). We have 208/120V 3 phase at work with line to neutral or ground of 118V.
electrical trivia you probably don't care about:
PG&E residential service is 120/240V Single Phase (IIRC, 200Amp min per N.E.C.). Some apartment complexes you may find 120/208V single phase if they are feeding it with a 3phase system. 240/120V three phase has a 208V stinger leg (Phase C from PG&E, but you have to put the stinger on Phase B per N.E.C.) so it isn't used except in commercial where you have 3phase loads.
Loads listed with LOW/HIGH (120/240V) are single phase. Loads listed HIGH/LOW (208/120V, 240/120, and 480/277V) are 3 phase.
Wire Colors:
120/240V = black, red are line (Hot)
neutral = white
208/120V, 240/120 = black, red, blue are line
208V stinger = orange
neutral = white
480/277V = brown, orange, yellow (remember BOY)
neutral = grey
green is always ground.
Neutral isn't needed for multi-phase loads (208, 240 & 480V, i.e. dryers, ovens, ranges, motors, etc.)
Neutral can be shared on the same size feeder for one circuit from each phase (i.e. circuits 2 and 4 can share a neutral.) More than one per phase requires increasing the the neutral conductor. Referred to as "round robin." ALWAYS turn off all circuits of a "round robin" neutral when servicing it. 120V w/o a neutral causes things to blow up, namely UPSes feeding cash registers... (no, it wasn't me, no, I wasn't there.)
Neutrals carry voltage, up to the service voltage. BE CAREFUL!
"Clean power" isn't a real term. Usually "dirty power" is usually describing a condition where you have a bad grounding system.
Equipment calling for an "isolated ground" that is required to not be connected to the grounding system (usually calls for a local ground rod) is illegal (NEC). It must be connected back at the service. This setup can cause dangerous touch voltages and ground faults not clearing. (There are actually a lot of street light poles that are not bonded to a ground back to the service.)

As we were headed up over the hill, to many idiots that didn't belong on the roadgot in the way, doing 10-15 mph in the middle of both lanesSo, I decided to come back to civilization. Yup. That would be snow up towards Lone Sequoia. If it infact fell that low.
I havent been able to see the local hills so i have no way to tell just how low it was.
Im gonna make a trip to the ski hill for the day tomorow so ill know more then. Even though its the opposite direction this storm was pretty consistent. So the snow level should be the same. If this storm wasnt cold enough, the next one just might be.

Went and played Army Man today at Ord. Last night we were sitting in the motel going WTF are we going to do. Raining like a mofo. Poor painters just painted (they are remodeling the Motel 6 in Marina) and it was all washing down the downspout into the middle courtyard area...should have taken a pic, but the batteries were dead in the camera. Anyways, woke up this morning and it wasn't bad. Dark, cloudy, so we went for it.
I got soaked. Through my BDU shirt, t-shirt and my thermal longsleeve was wet, but not soaked through. Had a blast though. Went through like 4 high cap mags (300 round ea.) and a standard (like 60 rounds.) Was down to my pistol when I got shot. First pistol shot in combat = kill. Had one double surrender (but one guy was a d!ck and ducked back around the corner.)

I don't think the south, got as much rain/snow as the north. Looks like we were getting the tail end of the storm compared to North Ca/ Or/Wa.

We got 2.24 inches of rain so far up here. In less than 24hours....

I was basing my information on being up near Sacramento/I-80 corridor compared to here todaymand information that was on the weather channel. According to MID we recieved just under 3/4 inch. Looks like you guys received a good dosing. I saw Oakland got just over 3 inches.

No, the POS didn't die like he was supposed to. There was two in like this little patio yard thing. I came up around the corner, pulled my pistol and popped around the corner and 2 of us yelled "surrender" at the same time. There was 2 of them next to each other, and me. We all were supposed to die. Head to head surrenders everyone dies, with no more than 2 to 1 ratio (what happened to me.) But if you get 20 guys from behind they all die, but you don't. He went around the corner behind a fence. I almost walked through there and told him "@ss hole, you're dead too!" In fact he was the first one that I saw to surrender.
There was another team who was having issues with those guys dieing.

i dunno about that one!!metal starts breaking. diesel gels up. got lotsa relatives up north, and everything starts to shut down around -40 (BTW, Celcius and Farenheit meet at -40). we went skiing once in those temps. had to wrap hotel towels around our faces. they shut down chair-lifts cuz they were afraid metal would pack it in. so i went for a skate, and man, the ice was so hard, you couldn't catch an edge with your skates. just like Bambi.

Im thinking now that it was closer to minus -20-25 or so with windchills to -30-40. All i remember is that there were people comming off the mountain with beginnings of frostbite after they had just gotten up there. This was in colorado in the middle of january during a HUGE snow storm.

that's awesome! i've been at it for years, and maybe shot low 80s a handful of times. problem with a score like that is, now you think you can do better (see, you're already muttering about the birdies you missed, telling yourself... coulda-shoulda-woulda), and you'll be rabid in your pusuit of bettering it.

Probably shoot over 100 today BR>
I have to tell you. I have been really trying to think about my swing before each shot and it's been helping big time.

This Wi-FI stuff is pretty cool. I have my lap top running in the car all day long and just pull up to a business or hotel and use their internet connection.
It's amazing how many un-secured connections that are out here.

all that does for me is make it worse. well, sometimes it works. but you're thinkin, "keep head down, grip properly, take away club with your back and shoulders, make shoulder turn to target, get hips into swing, flex knees, keep legs rigid to make a coil effect" ....and ON & ON & ON!! just hit it!! i take most of my strokes thru LOUSY chipping, something even beginners can get good at in relatively short time.

Yours isnt the only one. The 2002 still has its leak. After 2 trips to the dealer.
Dad thought it was just the drain plug. I told him it was something else. He took it to the dealer, they "fixed it", and it still leaks.

Make sure the crankcase vents are clean and not clogged up. Diesels have a lot of crankcase pressure and if they can't let it out the vents it will push it out the weakest point which might be the rear main seal, valve covers, etc...

uh, um, WHERE is it leaking, and what is it leaking? I've replaced my rear pinion seal twice, and it's still seeping. second time, we replaced the yoke aswell. my suggestion on the pinion seal is just watch your diff fluid level and don't waste your time or $$ fixing it, cuz it just seems to want to keep seeping.
Posted by: rescuediver
It's oil, Right now it looks like it is leaking from the the rear/right side of the engine above the starter. I am going to have to clean the area up and then check it out, to much oil in the area, to really find out where it's coming from.
Really don't want to just let it leak like thatDon't like oil drops on the driveway or in the street. Maybe a diaper underneath the engine compartment would workNah

Actually more likely a "pagan" holiday assimilated by Christians because people like to party and have a good time. IIRC, Jesus was born in the summer around 5BC. (Yesterday was the shortest day of the year...and now the days are getting longer.)

I'd like to get the frame powdercoated, but need to figure out how to deal with VIN issues when you do it.

No this is much worse than rust. This could cause the motor to go by-by... Or at least fill the oil with coolant..
The thread is over in the Zuki section under Z400 corrosion. This IS a problem with ALL 05-06 Z400s.. With no fix available.. BR>

I am a diesel mechanic. We have to put a coolant additive in all antifreeze to prevent corrocion and Cavitation. In a diesel engine the combustion gasses mixed with the antifreeze turn into a sorta acid, so the additive prevents this. Someone needs to do a test with one of these new quads and a NAPA coolant additive and see if it fixes the prob, a bottle is only a couple bucks, and for a quad 1 bottle should be good for the life of the engine! It's a thought!

Different coolents ARE preventing/slowing this problem BUT, with the quads coming straight from suzuki with regular coolent..... What do we do? Some/most are already corroded from the dealer!!!
Ive never added coolent to mine or changed it so if there is corrosion its their fault.
Annnnnddddd im SURE mines corroded since i can SEE black chunks floating in the bottom of my coolent resevior.
A bad sign from what ive heard.

wtf nevermind. That doesnt make sence. That stuff im seein in the resevior isnt from the corrosion. Since no coolant flows back into the thing does it? hmm. Maybe thats just dirt.

You might want to try a ground strap from the engine to the frame and make sure that the connection is metal to metal. The paint won't let it make the best connection. Also, check the radiator cap to see if it's bad. I have seen this before many times in cars. Used to see them go through freeze plugs and gaskets and then we started to put ground straps on them and it sloved the problems. Just a thought....

Coolant should be flowing in and out of the reservoir when the bike heats and cools. Gets a little warm, coolant to the res. to reduce pressure. Then the coolant cools (or rather motor) resulting in a vacuum which will pull the coolant back over to the motor. If there's anything in the res. that means either you have a leak, or there's something putting cr@p into the coolant. Given what I read, it's the corrosion because of the magnesium cover.
Having 2 different metals together is BAD. They corrode. Used to be you had to be careful buying RAM for computers. Some chips used silver/tin/whatever, and others used gold for the contacts. Same with motherboards. So you had to match the RAM to the MB.

OK. So thats what it is most likely. Its hard to see but when i move the bike i can see this stuff moving around. Looks to be a pretty thick layer with some small peices.
Here i go thinking i bought a quad with NO problems...

Warrior/Rap 350 They are a tank; built like 'em, slow as 'em, handle like 'em, and as tough as 'em.
Or maybe a 400ex.

That's to bad about the corrosionI hope it gets fixed. I would love to own a '05 somedaydon't want to buy a used one that's screwed up. But, like all things NEW something is bound to go wrongto bad it's been '05-'06 model years. What Creator says make perfect senseHopefully it works for youBR>

Sure send her downActually,, we're still adjusting to the bills ( ie. rising gas bills in a 3,000 sq foot house) we decided this was the year for the kidsPlus, I keep dropping the hintimg src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> about my new trailer for the upcoming yearAnd, I just buy what I want during the course of the year, anywaysLOL! But it was nice to remain debt free and focus on the kids only.
So what quad are you doubling up on?
I like MakitaGuess they need to to stay competitive. Have you seen DeWalt's new 28v cordless tools for $800img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0"> talk about sticker shockAlmost need to mortgage the house to buy them.

think we'll double on the Honda and leave the quad box on my Kodiak, which my wife drives anyways!
ya, i LIKED Makita too, but not sure if it'll stay that way if they're outsourcing to China too. No wonder our local home improvement warehouse had Makita Circular saws on sale for $85, same price a pawnshop wants for a stolen one (I mean "used" one). Dewalt is Black & Decker. Sears Craftsman power tools are mostly Ryobi. ALL are made in China. Okay for handyman, but not great for tradesman or frequent use.

My bro bought a set of 18V Rigid tools at Home Depot. I guess they are the only place to carry them, probably some special deal. He's had great luck with them. Just heavier than an SOB because of the 18V batteries. The recip. saw broke once, but it was covered under warranty (3 years, IIRC.) I think they are Ryobi, not sure though.
Just had one h3ll of a storm blow through this morning. Lightning, thunder and a downpour. Power went out. Luckily everything came up nicely.

For construction, Makita is the way to goI've had Milwaukee for the last 4-5 years. Finally down to my last battery3 out of 4 have taken a dump. Can't really complain to much, they have built quite a few fences, arbors and the suchDarn things are so expensive to buy new thoughLast time I looks, it was $35 on ebay for a refurbished one.
I didn't know who made all the others. Thanks for the information

I think for the price and what you get, ryobi and rigid are the way to go for the homeownerIf one of them go out, it's not to expensive to replace one item or just the battery.

A coworker has the full Milwaukee 18V set. Bro liked it, but he could never get the batteries changed, so he went with the Rigid. Most of the DeWalts don't seem to last a long time. Tend to not withstand the fall off a scissor lift I guess. LOL. The boss gets the old style 9.6V Makitas, but they just don't cut it. He also replaces/repairs damaged worn/out tools that are used on the jobsite. Replaced with same or like quality. Had a lot guys turning in 99cent screwdrivers wanting Kleins for $10. Put an end to that. LOL.

The Rigid stuff my bro has is pretty good stuff. He's had it for 1-2 years now. Everything has held up. It's not cheap garbage like the Ryobi labelled stuff is. Almost all of our pipe threading/cutting tools are Rigid (only have one threading machine that isn't...something like Rothberg I think). I have a fealing they wanted quality stuff to stick their name on. I think he's replaced one battery, but they may have been on his Porter-Cable drill.

Since were on the subject of tools.... I bought DaBeech a Dewalt impact wrench for Xmas, but I think were going to exchange it for the Snap-on one.
Glad to hear everyone had a very merry christmas!! I finally get my GEARS Powerstroker!! Haha 4.10's baybee!! Now I can hit some trails finally

DQ, RU talkin air or electric impact? snap-on outsources a lot of their electric stuff from china and just puts their good name on it. If it's air tool, Ingersoll Rand and Chicago Pneumatic are 2 great brands.
a good friend repairs tools. he says the Makita 9.6V is probably the best cordless drill cuz it's metal gears. ALmost all the others use plastic gears which strip and don't last long. I have 2 Milwaukee 12V drills that I just tossed cuz the new Batteries are WAY too much $$. And the drills were never that good either. the 9.6 lacks big power, but fabulous for smaller jobs.I have 2 of the 9.6. IMHO, there's no substitute for electric drill vs. cordless. the bigger Voltage stuff is heavy.
Rigid makes the best plumbing tools, but their power tools from Home Depot are just their name slapped on off-shore stuff. ALtho it may be half decent off-shore ( not all off-shore products are total crapp).

I loved my 9.6 with the ability to take a 12v batteryIIRC. Except, the batteries were to expensive also. SO, I went with the Milwaukee. I agree on the Ingersol and Chicago brandsBR>
Anyone remember who it was that made cordless tools that also was able to plug into the wall? Now there is a concept I can buy intoBattery goes dead, recharge it and still be able to do your work.

We rarely had to take the 9.6V Makitas in for repair. Usually if they broke, they REALLY broke. Most have grown legs and we've stopped replacing them. The guys complained that they just ate up batteries trying to drill through stuff. Being we do a lot of commercial & industrial work, we don't see a lot of wood. Mostly steel. And the steel they make enclosures out of is some tough sh!t. These were the old style 9.6V that had the long stick style batteries.
I know what you're talking about on the cost of the Milwaukee batts. I'm usually the one to go pick up stuff like that. Figure $70-100 for an 18V.

We had one of those at the shop. It was a Shop Only drill. Used it mainly for running wire (8 AWG max down to like #22/2 (22 AWG, 2 wire)) through the wire meter when crediting for jobs. After a few years it finally burned up. We'd run it until it was too hot to touch. LOL. Figure pull the trigger for up to 3 minutes solid without a break. The big stuff we'd bust out the 1/2" Milwaukee Hole Hawg for. Now we have a Wemco for the really big stuff.
Now we've got a big 18V Mikita for that. And it's earned it's keep.

$69 seams pretty good. Have you checked OSH? Seems like they are the only place around here that ever has the batts in stock.

not sure, but a couple of friends recently bought flashlights with no batteries, you just wind em up (like piezo-electric), and they hold a charge for awhile. they got 'em from Costco.
my friend works on prison door installations. he told me about a sale on cobalt drill bits (at our equivalent to Harbor Freight), and to go buy some. These bits are awesome for drilling steel. they look sorta heat-scored when ya buy them (sorta purple/blue/yellow), but they are the BEST drill bits I've ever used on thick steel. Buddy said they'll never dull for a recreational/home use guy, and they definitely cut down on the drilling time. I saw some in Home Depot when I visited my uncle in WA State. you can buy individual sizes. Give 'em a try.

our equivalent to HF is called Princess Auto. It started as kinda a surplus store selling mostly to farmers. now they buy containers of junky stuff from China and sell it. I went to HF in WA State, and they did NOT have ANY cobalt bits! but if they do get some, you'll prolly get a set cheap. these are WWAAAYYY better than the titanium coated bits.

They have the Cobalt bits at Home Depot, I thought you knew the bits at Harbor Freight (don't remember name) were made by Cobalt, just sold under a different name. You are right, I haven't had any luck with the titanium bitsthey stink.

oops, cobalt is the material or style of bit, not a brand name. buy a 3/8" bit, or some other common size from Home Depot. try it out on some thicker/hard metal, and see what you think. IIRC, they also have a small set for under $20. i think one larger size bit is $5-10.

that is because ANY bit that is "coated" have junk steel underneath. At one of my jobs I used to take about 500 drill bits a month to a local sharpener, if a bit was coated, he threw them in the trash. In my own use in my garage, the coated ones are the only ones I can afford so they work pretty good, but if you get them hot, trash it!

Cobalt is a brand or line of Irwin.
Quote
Ask Irwin
Q: Are Irwin cobalt drill bits coated like the titanium ones? If the cobalt bits are rockwell hardness 66 - 67 HRc, what hardness are the titanium bits? Once you sharpen a cobalt bit and the gold coating is gone, is it just a regular bit?
A: Cobalt bits are not coated, they are cobalt steel through and through. At the end of manufacture a cobalt bit is baked in an oven to turn the surface color of the steel a dull gold color. This is done primarily for easy identification by color. If the gold wears off or is ground off in sharpening on a cobalt bit, it is still solid cobalt steel. Our cobalt drill bits are made of M42 cobalt steel which has 8 percent cobalt content. The Rockwell is approximately 65.5 to 67 Rockwell C. Irwin titanium drill bits have a hardness of approximately 64.5 to 65.5 Rockwell C. The titanium coating is much harder at approximately 82 Rockwell C. If you sharpen a cobalt bit it is still as good as a new bit, assuming it was sharpened correctly. If you sharpen a titanium bit its performance will drop because the coating is gone on the tip; however, you still have the benefit of the titanium coating in the flute of the bit and on the sides of the bit. It will still perform better than a standard bit.
And now you know....

that Irwin post by Skinner confused me. Cobalt is the MATERIAL, not a brand name by Irwin.
as for the.. "Now they're blaming US"... I shoulda left well enuf alone! some people are so stupid! if the mayor of TO thinks we get our guns from the USA, he's dumb and niave. they come from China in containers, probably thru Canada, then to the US. I heard US won't allow Cosco shipping containers cuz they've been linked to arms smuggling & other dirty, criminal stuff from a Chinese billionaire (Li Ka-Shiang). but hey, we let em in here!
I went to a seminar on organized crime gangs, right around the time the US was trying to extradite Charles Eng on murder charges (what was that, 15 years ago?!). the speakers all said it wasn't an "IF" we're going to get gangs, it was a "when". and everyone was unanimous in saying, "we're surprised it's taken this long for it to hit Vancouver".
I'm so embarassed when people make it sound like TO (or Canada) is a cozy little Hamlet with no crime, & then blame it on the US. we have all the same problems, and I DON'T blame the USA for that. I DO blame our gov't for letting certain criminal groups immigrate to our country, but guess what? they sure the F*** didn't come from the USA!!
on the bright side, i went to the USA/Finland hockey game tonight. great game. USA won 6-5. USA will probably win the gold medal in this tourney; they've got a great team. but i was really embarassed by some of the ignorant, classless cat-calls and comments from my countrymen, towards the USA. In this case, it really is the hockey rivalry spilling out. they're our biggest opposition, so they get the first heaping of abuse. but stupid, class-less comments should never be made. at least we cheer and applaude the Star Spangled Banner. there was a time when it would get booed by some moronic folks. so don't judge the comments of the TO mayor to be a representation of how all Canadians think. same as our country's retarded extradition policy. MOST Canadians would LOVE to ship back your criminals awaiting the possible death penalty for hienous crimes, but our gov't seems to think otherwise; that we should keep them from their fate. WhoTF are we to tell ANY other country what to do with their POS?

Nghis trial almost made a county government go bankrupt, if the state didn't pick up the trial costs, Calaveras County would of gone broke. It's a neighboring county north/east of mine.
After reading that article, I thought, maybe we should blame Canada for our meth problemsafter-all we have documented thousands of barrels of amphetamines coming to California through wholesalers up there, they sell over the internet and ship blindlyimg src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0"> Anyways, I know the bigger story and can see through BS like that

on the bright side, i went to the USA/Finland hockey game tonight.
Congradulations to US! We know have a semi pro hockey team in the next major town north of us. They just moved there from Phoenix, IIRC. They skate on synthetic ice
I truly agree with you on your stand about one country telling another what they can do. I did a paper in my critical thinking class where I stated the very same thingI didn't do to well on itand the instructor said it wasn't because of our phlisophical differencesimg src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0"> BR>

It was supposed to be a joke. Hence the reference to the South Park movie that had "Blame Canada" in it. Don't remember what we were blaming the neighbors for... I think it was EVERYTHING.

We've got the Falcons here. But people only ever want to see fights so that's what they give the attendees. I want to see a fight, I'll go to a local Indian Casino and watch boxing, UFC, whatever. I WANT TO SEE A FSCKING HOCKEY GAME! Of course every time I go to a game they generally lose. Even when they won the Taylor cup, they lost the 2 or 3 games I went to. LOL

Hockey is sorta like NASCAR, you only watch it for the fights or crashesHowever, hockey in person is much better than on tv.

ya, i caught the joke and it was clever, but i hadn't read that dribble from the TO mayor before, and his stupidity PO'ed me, so i had to rant.

they held an event in Prince George, BC (gateway to the north!) this summer: hockey fights on ice. bleeding hearts tried EVERYTHING to stop it. a hockey fight is really sompin tho, cuz they stand toe-to-toe and just throw punches until exhaustion, hammerin on each other. UFC is real wrestling. a good wrestler usually manouevers a guy into some kind of submission. i haven't seen many slug 'em out UFC battles, all wrestlin. boxing, ya, they jab & dance, & block. it really is "The Sweet Science" cuz you'll never win going out like a jack-hammer hockey player.plus you need to pace yourself. only guy I saw win with a haymaker-flurry mentality was Tyson when he was young.
Amazingly, a Russian & Slovak had a fight in the Jr. tourney last night!! that gets ya an automatic suspension.

on Crystal Meth..., there's no reason to import it. it's like a toxic cocktail of all the worst chemicals you can think of like paint-thinner, acetone, etc.., but all the chemicals are readily available. so don't need to import it, unless you're too stupid to do it yourself.

My bad, I incorrectly stated amphetimineswhen I really meant to say pseudo-ephedrine. We were intercepting 50 lb boxes of it from Canada. Here it was heavily regulated, so to get the amount needed to manufactor their meth, they needed to go outside the country and Canada fit the voidMy bad sorry

Happy New year to you all tonight! I haven't been on the computer much in the last couple of weeks. I took two weeks off to get some important things done (Like golf, riding, more golf, etc.). Looks like you guys might be getting a little rain up there. We just started getting some here in the last hour or so.
Posted by: Trasher
Went to Ocotilla Wells for a couple of days and the weather was amazing for this time of year. About 75 during the day and no wind at all. The night was cool and calm. Great riding weather for sure

Weeeee.
Just got power back after a sweet storm rolled through earlier. Saw rainfall rates of 2.3"s an hour.
Ended up taking a tree down in our pasture and a powerline down in the process. The tree is also across our driveway.
Also felt that earthquake right after all of that. hahah
The wind was SOOO strong that it UNSTUCK our windguage that was "frozen" and has been that way for like 3 weeks. Saw 30mph gusts while the power was out as well.
Soo. Over probably over 2.3"s of rain today.
Great newyears. haha
Posted by: powerstroke01
OOHHhh and after all of that we went into town to get some pizza and on the way home got into a goood hail storm in the jeep. Short but sweet.

Nothing wrong with taking sometime off to enjoy the finer things in life
My New Year is starting off on a sad noteHad to admit our youngest into the hospital with a nasty kidney infection with a 104 tempHopefully she'll be out of there in a couple of days.
They've had some crazy rain totals up north like 7-10 inches from S.F. to Sonoma/Napa area. Heard this is the wettest December in Ca. in 50 yearsSounds like I-80 is going to be closed for a couple of days due to rock/mud sildes from Truckee to Stateline.

That's a LOT of rain. WOW. I woke up in the AM yesterday and saw red on the radar when I checked it. Lost power here for a couple hours or so. I was just getting ready to cook something...so I went out and got some pizza.

Damn, that's some pretty good wind. I think we've got a watch through tomorrow, maybe. They cancelled some of it.

Yup. PG&E came back out today to repair everything and put a new pole up. Took em about 6 hours. They started at about 1pm and finished in the dark and rain haha. It was pretty kewl to see em put new pole up without having a truck right next to it. They used pulleys and a winch on the crane truck and remnents of the old pole to get the new one up. So 30 hours later and our neighbors have power. lol And we no longer have powerlines in our pastures.
Its raining again... And looking at the pc weve gotten .55"s so far today. Not bad.
I think tomorow i might drive up and see where the snow is, and get some pics of falling snow. lol
And yeah, weve got some big trees to clear now. Glad we got a log splitter and quads with winches. ahhah
Edit: *cough* *cough* I think im still sick *cough*

Yeah, PG&E can really do some crazy stuff. And often times they'll do that will 12KV (it's actually over 13,000 volts) running live on the lines.
22:55 update on WU shows us sitting at .77" today at KFAT. Been raining non-stop since about noon or so. 13:56 and 22:56 update are both tied for .14"/hr with 16:56 a close 3rd at .12"/hr.
The rain is just packing up coming over the Coast Range. It's not even bands. Just a mix of green and yellow on the radar. Nothing really clear (unless you remove clutter.)
My mom is freaking out over the flood warning. If it floods by our house, sandbags aren't going to help any...
