I wonder how many of those morons live in San Francisco. And if they realise that's where the water coming out of their tap comes from. Morons. With environmental laws the way they are now, no damn would probably ever get built.
Oh wait...they probably live in LA where the water comes from the Delta. I have a solution. Let's turn off the CA Aquaduct. Give SF the water going to LA. Let LA dry up. LOL. Probably save a lot of money spent to pump the water 1/2 way down California. Teach people to move somewhere where there isn't any potable water!

well, here in the rain forest.... we got tons of water, we only use one of several possible lakes/resevoirs for our drinking water. every year it reaches record lows. we all wonder why they don't tap into another one of many other possiblities.
every summer our air gets worse, and it's very similar to LA to Palm Springs. not so bad on the waterfront/ Port of Vancouver, but as you drive 1-2 hours east, it's hazy and really socks in at the base of the mountains in the Valley. they always have the worst air quality.

So true on building new dams. A local irrigation district wanted to build a dam on the Clavey river to meet the future needs of the growing population. It was turned down. Don't you just love it when politicians tell us we need to allow growthBut, they refuse to address or pay for the problems that come with it. Like, air polution, drain on local safety, schools, roadways etc.
I couldn't agree with you more on the Aquaduct. We have their power lines and aquaduct, cross basically right down the middle of our county. Remember about 5-6 years ago when they wanted to split the stateShould of let it happen. Sorry Creator

Confused, You are painting a totally differnet picture of Canadathen I envisionAlways thought of it as a sportsman's paradise with no negative enviromental problemsother then the tree huggersBR>
Your area sounds just like ours. Coast/bay area 75 miles away, on the other side of the Coastal/Diablo range. Then, we have the Sierra's starting 35 miles to the east. So, we get all the smog blown in from the coast, where it settles in our valley. S.F. and the legislators refuse to try and reduce the smog in their area. But, we have crazy smog restrictions in oursHeck, they even built windmills on the Altamont Pass/Hills to move the air into the valleyThey covered up their intentionsby calling the windmills, an alternative to making electrical energy
Posted by: confusedbuyer
i saw TONS of those windmills between Riverside and Palm Springs. Vancouver has about 2 million so ya, we get da smog. especially bad after long hot spells then a nice temp. inversion. YUCK!
oh, do we have enviro-lunatics. we are the birthplace of Greenpeace (i think) and Paul Watson. logging, hec, our whole economy revolves around it, and when the US isn't busy making up BS levies, duties, etc..., it's the main thing that makes our economy go. And then the enviro folks come along. don't get me started or you'll hafta be a moderator instead of a forum participant.
but we still have great expanses of what you envision.
Posted by: BlackandRedWarrior
MD, thing is, smog, by law, IIRC, isn't allowed to move from one area to another. SOOOO, the smog produced in the Bay Area doesn't actually flow over the Altamont. Nope. Where it goes, nobody knows. LOL
We are just now finishing up a job in Tracy that's VERY close to 580/205. It's a PITA to talk to the guys in the field on their cell phones. They have to go outside to get a decent signal, and then they are in the constant wind out there. It's just insane.
It was nice today after the thunderstorms blew through. Sun came out and was ultra bright. Our parking lot looked like a sauna with the water evaporating off of it.
I guess this is my sign-off for the weekend. Gonna go play a little poker this weekend. $10/hand. Of course it will take 25 miles of riding to get all of the cards. Just gotta watch out for a couple water puddles.

Well, I'm finally getting off my duff and going to start volunteering with the FS to work up at Miami. When it's done they are going to move onto working in other parts of the Ranger District wich is like 390,000 acres. Basically it's the Sierra N.F. between the south fork of the Merced River and the San Joaquin River.

I wish I could find that article for you about that guy from the Fresno area that does it. Maybe one of the rangers up there, knows who he is.

She just said that they were going to work on other areas where MCs ride. So I'm assuming around Nedler Grove and Central Camp. Probably up Shutteye. And Jeep trails. She's probably the person who deals with all OHV recreation.

Didn't Jack Nicholson say that?
Posted by: BlackandRedWarrior
I believe it was the little girl from Poltergeist (or however it's spelled) and she said "They'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack."
IIRC, she passed away after the filming of the last movie from pnemonia thought to be caused by her being in water in one scene.
Edit to this after Googling:
Actress was Heather O'Rourke who played Carol Anne Freeling.
From http://fusionanomaly.net/poltergeist.html:
Quote
The child star of the Poltergeist horror films died from a heart attack yesterday - at the age of 12
Little blonde Heather O'Rourke suddenly collapsed while waiting to go into hospital apparently suffering from a severe bout of flu. Heather - who played angelic Carol Anne, kidnapped by evil spirits in the movies - died after being internal linkrushed to hospital near internal linkLos Angeles. Last night, friends said they believed Heather had become ill while filming Poltergeist III last June. Her shocked manager Mike Meyer said: "I've been told her death is related to a sickness she suffered while making Poltergeist III." And his girlfriend Shantay Grieggs said: "Heather had flu-like symptoms and that's what they thought it was."

yep, yer right skinner, it was "They're back". i remember her death, and they were trying to tie in the macabre nature of the films and connect it to her death in some way. kinda like a mummy's tomb, type of curse.
Posted by: BlackandRedWarrior
Three actors/actresses died shortly after filming. The little girl, I believe the actress who played her sister (strangled by a boyfriend/ex-boyfriend) and an actor, not sure who he was, died of cancer.
Supposedly part of the film was filmed over the top of an old Indian burial ground. Which I think was actually part of the movies. But it's been so long since I've watched it...

With the rain today I hope nobody dropped a couch. Had to go to Tracy today and bring stuff back....in several downpours.
I think the CHP is looking for some boats...99 between Ave 12 and 18-1/2 in Madera is closed. This actually includes 99 in the city of Madera as well (it's a sunken section in town.) That's probably 8 miles of road. LOL (each Avenue X (and Road X) is 1 mile.) And 99 runs at an angle. And 41 is closed around 15-1/2 so you pretty much can't get between Fresno and Madera. Well, you can, but by taking back roads. LOL

Confused...you have to realise that the Central Valley gets probably 12" of rain a year on average. Some years as low as about 7". We are in a rain shadow of the Coastal Range. And we get most of our rain Oct through May or so. The rest of the months it's bone dry with an occasaional storm. This year has pretty much been insane as far as weather goes.

Yeah i was just up there. There is ALOT of snow. I tried to make it to Fresno Dome but that was a no go. Then i took the road over to Beasore to see how far i could get and couldnt even make it to the Central Camp turn off.

Confused...it's probably 6000'. Most places are clear to close to 6000' though. Not sure what this rain did to the situation. It was cold last night, but not too cold. Might have just made more glaciers up there on the road.

the hwy we take to the interior is fairly high elevation, 2000 metres, which would be well over 6000' . I don't think they don't have that much snow pack right now.

i put on GBC shredders. they look exactly the same as holeshots. 18x9.5-8 but about 1/3 the price. (YEP, 8" rims, which opens up way more tire sizes), i went to a tire store and had them mount 4 tires on my PSD rear duals. i thot, what the hay, i'll get 'em to mount these 4 atv tires. so the guy tells me $80 cash (no receipt) for everything. i never bought any of them from them, so i went ahead with it. i figured no one would re & re + balance my truck tires for less than $60.
anyways, they can't get the shredders on the rears cuz they're afraid they're gonna damage the soft alum rim. and the shredders were shipped by rockymountainatv all squished and deformed outta shape. so i go home and mount 'em myself with my manual changer. they went on easy, but what a bugger to get them to seat on the rims (my compressor is a portable, 20 gallon tank style). they did mount the fronts which were easy. they're 20x7-8, cheng shin knobby. they are a smidge too big as they just rub the nerf bars.
as for the rev limiter, i got it from some company in CA that specializes in making these aftermarket rev limiters. they're a big time outfit. anyways, this one is in the "experimental " stage, so it was only $20, shipped! i've been lazy about switching it over. i wanna check the old one with my tach, then try the new one.
A question. when you change the rev limiter, are you at risk to rev too high and blow your engine? what would be redline for a 4-stroke Japanese 80cc engine??
lastly, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! you guys got more snow than Canada!! do you live in Igloos?

$80 for allHeck, I paid $80 for the Honda 70 new tires to be mountedEveryone was the same and I couldn't find a tire shop or wally world that would touch mounting themBR>
When the front tires rub the nerf bars, is it at the very end of turning the bars? So, basically it only rubs when doing extreme turns?
Having a rev limiter does exactly that. So, now that you raised the limityou do run the risk of causing motor damage. I don't know where the red line would be, but I would not want jr. to miss too many shiftsDid it say how much it raised it by, some raise it 1,000 rpms or so.

I know this is longbut, I can relate to quite a bit of it
Therapy:
Signs that you need therapy with your Ford diesel problem.
These were all sent by users who have undergone therapy at some point. Unfortunately, they are all beyond cure. Consider these warning signs and see a therapist as soon as possible if you exhibit more than 3 of these signs:
* After getting out of your truck you can't take more than ten steps before looking back to make sure it's still there.
* The racket it makes when it's started in the morning sounds sweeter than the opening chords of Beethoven's 9th.
* You honestly think no perfume smells as good as diesel exhaust.
* Your spousal unit begins to wonder why you're suddenly volunteering to run all the errands.
* You record fuel consumption, mileage, oil changes, and other significant events in the life of your truck with such care and accuracy that the most picky NASA scientist would conclude you're overdoing it.
* Three different neighbors have called the police after they've seen you just sitting in your truck - at 1:00 o'clock in the morning.
* You're rolling out of Las Vegas headed for L.A., it's 110 degrees at 10:00 a.m. and you're pulling 11,000 lbs of trailer up the stateline grade when you see a Dodge Cummins ahead and know that life as you know it will end if you don't pass and render it a speck in your rearview mirror.
* You hear the word "bible" and immediately think "owner's manual."
* You find yourself looking at maps to see if there isn't some way to drive to Europe instead of flying.
* Every Monday morning as you drive up the street, your neighbors are frantically running to the curb with their trash cans thinking that the garbage truck has arrived three hours early. You laugh with glee.
* The kids waiting for the school bus begin to pick up their books only to find out someone put a t444e in a pickup. You grin and wave as you motor by. You roll down the window on a cold day while driving just to hear the motor.
* When driving through a tunnel or long underpass you slightly slow down just to hear the motor reverberate off the walls.
* Your wife dabs diesel fuel behind her ears when she "wants your attention".
* You drive around with a ton of gravel just cuz it seems right.
* You can't eat and drive when you are not carrying a load.
* You pull up to places that have valet parking and purposely make sure your exhaust is placed so that you can fill the main entry with diesel fumes.
* You buy a laptop computer for your fiver so you can keep in touch when you're on the road.
* You set the Ford.Diesel.Com page on your browser as your default "home" page so ya never miss a post!
* With less than 100 miles on a new Power Stroke, you&39;ve already got it partially disassembled to add a winch, larger fuel tanks, exhaust & turbo system modifications, additional instruments, CB, an exhaust brake and a class 5 trailer hitch.
* Sports cars no longer interest you because they can&39;t haul a cord of wood in the back and two cords in the trailer.
* You put the exhaust right beside the snobs in the convertible on the interstate and floor it!
* When pulling in to your local convenience store, you target the poor sap on the outdoor pay phone so they can enjoy the idle mode of the Power Stroke while you run in to get a cold one.
* I love it when I pull into the drive thru for my morning coffe with out stopping because the girl knows the sound of this engine and already has it made by the time I round the corner with no wait!
* You enjoy setting off more than two car alarms when you start your truck up in a parking lot.
* You can't stop at an intersection without rolling down the windows to listen to the Power Stroke idling next to you.
* You sit on the john and read a whole issue of The Powerstroke Registry.

Most of the time was just cruisin... I hit alot of trails and rode towards Devils Peak. Got past Summit but there were some downed trees so i turned around. Even played in the snow a bit.. It was a good day.
Never did see MWQ.. Saw their truck but never saw them.
The weather was perfect. Maybe a lil on hte chilly side but near perfect!
Ranger lady was out again handing out maps and telling people bout all the new trail work being done..

yep, just at extremes of turning. like i said, the front tires might be a smidge big. i forgot to mention, when they couldn't mount the rears, they gave me 2 chrome center caps instead. BR>
no, they never said how much they bumped up the revs. that's a bitr scary, cuz i don't think my youngest always fully appreciates the finer details of when to shift (up or down).
well, ya, they snuggle, but it's usually after a feast of whale blubber and baby seal. ooops.... the enviro crew.

I guess I did get a good deal at $40 for all my tires mounted at a chain tire shop. Wally World was $7.50 ea. but would have had to drive across town. The place that mounted mine was going to start carrying tires too.
OK, just got back from Sac...I swear every time I drive through Modesto it's raining! Came through Thursday....RAIN. Today...rain. Wasn't bad, but it was still raining. Cleared up about Merced and was sunny south of Madera.
You know you're a net addict when the second thing you do after getting home from being out of town is jump on the computer.
Remind me, if I ever talk positively about the Bay Area (never happens anyways) to shoot me. It took us 3 hrs to get to SF from Sac yesterday. An hour of that was at about 15 MPH trying to hit the Bay Bridge. And we were in the car pool lanes when we could be. That should be a 2 hr trip. 5 hr trip to be there for 4 hrs. Had lunch at Bubba Gumps...ehh...it was OK, nothing Earth shattering about it.

MD, that list is hilarious. I'm guilty of the ones they talk about where i try to get the exhaust lined up beside some idiot that needs a good whiff of diesel in his open window.
replaced all the brakes on my 450 today (man, were they worn out, like almost metal to metal all round). I think the rear rotor needs repalcing cuz it barely stops with rear foot brake.

Yea, that's me tooI can't stand head throbbing, window popping, 200 yards away bass thumpingI roll up my windows, then, put the 250 in neutral and clean out the exhasutBoy, do I feel betterShouldn't have to listen to that crapEspecially when the law says I shouldn't here it from 50 feet away.

at least I didn't have to drive though! The low fuel light went off around Dixon. (on the 80 coming back). And they kept going. Asked if anyone needed to hit the bathroom...I told them no, but your car is thirsty. I have this thing...no highway if I have under 1/4 tank. I've run out before on the freeway in town...it sucked. And I couldn't see but someone else said the CEL was on and another one next to it. Felt like it was running w/o OD on. '93 Ford Focus. And the thing wouldn't make the 1-2 shift.

I hate being the passenger in the carI hit the "AIR"brakes all the time. People drive me nuts
Posted by: BlackandRedWarrior
The driver wasn't as bad as I thought she was going to be. But then again, I was sitting right behind her (the passenger was my height so there was no way I was sitting behind him) so I couldn't see the speedo.
I hate being a passenger. Cause I can't sleep in a car. If I'm tired enough, I *might* but not usually. I was Saturday, but there was no headrest.

I wouldn't let her hold that against youUnless you are the only 2 thereWhich is a possiblity I guess. We were there couple years ago, Sometime during the winterI think) and we had a mile each way around us, to ourselve. Plus I think there's been a fenderbender or 2 while she was in front of her own house... oh my!!BR>
Headed to Carnegie for the day on Sunday for a few hours... one more dirt ride before I put on the SAND tires!!!! YAHOOOO!!! And yes Patrick, be nice to me, you may need a pull one of these trips.. haha. Either one of you going to make the Carnegie day ride???

Not going to the show. Saw they are only going to have 14 dealers thereSo, I don't think they will have anything new, for me to look atr warrant the drive. I almost sent a email to Giant RV asking for a quoteI'm getting the bug big timeand the wife knows it

Miami on Sunday for me. Some trail work, and then riding the rest of the day. Homebody tomorrow I think. Probably wash the quad, take stock of the camp gear, etc. Wanted to go to the Expo in Tulare but that's not gonna happen. Trying to cut down on mileage on the truck...passed 10,000 this week.
Already been fenderbenders? Sheesh. She really needs to use the brakes. Now I'm REALLY glad I don't live anywhere near ya'all.

Yup RD I guess he has to wait till monday to pick up his truck now cuz they are getting it Linex'd and stuff. and he has to run down to salem for the weekend. so he has to wait ohh well. I could buy his F-150 King ranch off him pretty cheap for my commuter

Yea, it's better to get all the stuff added on before you take delivery. That way, once you have it, you don't need to give it up for anythingHopefullyDid he special order it?
A Ranch 150 for a commuterI love it

I was going down the highway this morning, there was a guy driving his PSDthat had F750 empblems on the sideTruck was either a 250 or 350. I guess he thinks it looked cool. I could see putting a F350 on a F250 or a 450 on a 350 to try and fool the chippiesNot the I really advocate doing this (for apparent reasons) I just thought it was stupid looking.
Posted by: BlackandRedWarrior
There really are some idiots out there. If you want the real thing, buy it. But then again, an F-750 is a Class VII (up to 33,000lb GVWR, IIRC) truck and requires a Class B in CA. So most people wouldn't buy one. I say buy the right truck for the job. Those people and those freaking pre-'05 F-250s!

It's 4x2 and yeah, can't beat those car payments. Though I have to work 40 hrs per week just to make them.
On that note, my boss must have been going nuts yesterday. He had to fly commercial to L.A. His bigger plane broke a pushrod the other morning in flight from Fresno to Watsonville. With my supervisor and a subcontractor on board. I guess they flew back ok. He was supposed to be taking his sis and bro-in-law as well as his wife to a wedding. Can't quite fit 4 people in his Arrow (2-seat).

well commie-chameleon, Canada just beat the Ruskies 4-3. we were up 4-0, and then had major-league brain cramps and went into prevent defence.it was painful to watch, good thing our goalie was stellar. As John Madden says, "the only thing the prevent defence does is prevent the team with the lead from winning". I agree. Keep the accelerator to the floor when your opponent is down. naturally, the refs disallowed a legitimate Cdn goal late in the game. that's the only way anyone can compete against us; they need the refs in their back pocket.
so commie lover, if Sweden beats the other eastern-euro team (Czech), you'll have 2 big-time socialist countries in the final. then who would ya cheer for? It doesn't get any more socialized and gov't regulated than the Scandanavian countries. And we think our taxation is bad!!!

It ain't gonna work too well if you are trying to weld aluminumimg src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

BR&W, Yes, it does, However, I have done some welding where a clamp just wouldn't work wellbecause the clamp was a PITA to attach close to the weld.
After reading Creator's reply, I'm going to stay witht he clamp. Didin't thnk about aluminumAnd that is one metal I plan on "TRYING" to weldBR>

well i wasted 3 hours watching the Czechs play a boring defensive style of clutch, hold and grab hockey. in the end, a horrible Swede ref and stifflingly boring brand of hockey cost Canada a 2-0 loss for the gold. give the commies credit tho, they played their game plan to perfection, and we didn't have one good scoring chance in 60 minutes. we never sent our best players either, they all had "excuses" (=greed??) why they didn't wanna play in the world championships in Austria. what's really frustrating about these eastern-Euro trashes is they play stellar hockey for the world championships and Olympics. THEN, they use those performances as a springboard to get multi-million-dollar contracts to play professionally in the NHL, then proceed to sulk, whine and play like baby-girl malcontents at the expense of the owner who doled out the large cash. seriously, you see 2 totally different players in the same guy.
okay, so i rigged up a nifty cargo trunk for the quad. a Delta tool box designed to be removable with a quick dis-connect system. water-tight and locking top. but it kinda takes away the doubling capacity now. tons of storage tho.
AND FINALLY... A REAL PSD QUESTION!!!! anyone have any performance issues with their chip? I've stalled or sputtered about 4 times in 2 months. power just kinda cuts out or sputters, check engine icon lights up on the dash. i stop, re-start, and it's fine. doesn't happen again for awhile. NOW, i could remove chip to see if that's the cause ( and i will eventually). in the meantime, i'm pulling BIG load and hills in 3 days and want the extra 60HP, so i didn't wanna take chip out beofre that.
my Ford mechanic said they did have some cam sensor issues with this engine, but to remove chip and see if i notice a change.

The problem is you wasted your time watching hockey in general. I'm kind of a history channel person myself. However, not that I have time to watch anything anymore. This "New /Old" House is about ready to make me start smoking dope again. I'm currently working on 9 rooms at the same time (with more to come). Not to mention the master bathroom that I'm remodeling.
Sounds like you have quite the ATV tool box. I have bags on mine, but I need to get something that will keep out water and dust.
And no, I'm not much help on the chip problem. I want to sell my truck and upgrade...maybe then I will invest in a chip.

Anyways, his was determined to be one of the computers on the PSD. He's going to check exactly which one and get back to me. I'll post it when he calls.
Isn't it amazing how these over paid atheletes, whine and cry over how the owners are. When, THEY need to look and see, that THEY are also PART of the PROBLEMWish I was good enough to make millions doing what I loveIt's in all of sportsJust not your beloved hockey

hey Hoss 'ol buddy, good to hear from ya. should i even get started cuz you prolly won't read this or reply anyways? well, it seems there was this cute flock of sheep... Naw, forget it. did someone say BC bud? I'm sure we're the pot growing capital of North America. so nice to have the HA's and Vietnamese gangs on your streets, competing for control of the trade. we wouldn't have this problem if there wasn't such a huge market for it in the NBA.
speaking of NBA, you guys ever heard of Steve Nash? He's from Vancouver Island (same place as Pamela Anderson, Diana Krall, and Kim Cattrall). man, you guys are really getting overrun with Canadians. hee-hee-hee-hee!!
MD, i wish i knew the answers to your welding woes, cuz that'd mean I know about it from experience. one area i'd like to learn about. wife wants me to take a night school course to learn it.
hoss, i hear ya on home renos. i got one bathroom left to gut, and our 50+ y/o house will be new inside, and up for sale. but i'm confused. you sell an expensive home in an affluent area. you move to the stix to be at one with sheep and nature, with same pay or more, new job, cheaper area to live. so why'd you take on a reno home? why not new or newer?? and since YOU dragged your happy family away to live amoungst YOUR $#@&^** rotten kin, why aren't they there helping? (do i sound like a fly on the wall from your house??)

awww, man!! must be late! this is my brain on post 1:00AM posts...zzzzzzzzzzzzz!! I mean , it was right there and i was slow and missed it! like stepping in dog do. huh, what am i talkin about? Hoss of course! he's been responsible for some of my best material. and i missed the obvious... 9 ROOMS!!!! DUH!! one for the kids, and the other 8 for all the new wives in your new/old hometown. no wonder you were itching to get back and wife was so reluctant. DUH!! apparently my momma raised one stupid kid that lived!!
and i wuz thinkin of ya this AM WW. An article in our local paper about a 17 y/o girl out WW rafting with a group of 12-13 y/o girls. raft capsizes, she helps save 2 of the girls until rescuers can get them. apparently they can only get 2 at a time. they come back for the 17 y/o and she's drowned. this 17 y/o was volunterring to help out. she was a Brownies leader, coached girl's ringette, tutored other kids, was accepted to Engineering school; a completely selfless person at such a young age where here peers worry about getting Britney tickets and whether that cute hunk thinks she's sexy or not. what a tragedy to loose someone like that, who died giving her life to save 2 kids, selflessly. THAT, my friends, is true heroism. not doing what you're paid to do and having an unforeseen series of events take you away.
what really PO'ed me is that it happpened on the Elaho river on a spot called the Devil's Elbow. WHat's that mean? read back about 4000 posts when WW used to post regularly. This is the EXACT same spot where 5 US businessmen met their makers in about 1987, in a rafting disaster. what a tragic waste.

Hoss bashing? Now that&39;s what I have been missing. ? I&39;ve missed bashing everyone else. ?
This new job and move has sent me for a spin. But now I&39;m getting into the swing of things.
The home is 12 years old (which is relatively new), but needed some new colors and less wallpaper, etc. Most of the rooms are getting new carpet, fresh paint, and trim (crown, base, chair rail, etc.). The big job is the bathroom (300 ft2 of tile, new counter top, new toilet, new shower door, new lighting, new fixtures, paint, etc.). And no, my family has not offered to help out. I think I saw more of my siblings when I lived 150 miles away. And yes, all my wives have thier own room.
I&39;ve been out riding a couple of times (this area is ATV heaven). We actually have ATV routes in my town and surrounding towns.
Well, duty calls…
Posted by: confusedbuyer
hoss, the atving sounds awesome. 300' sq WOW!! you tiling wall to ceiling, plus ceiling?? in my bathroom, i'm puttting down heating wire under the floor tile. i did it in one other area. there's nuthin nicer than heat radiating up thru ceramic tile. i wish i had hot water radiant heat. definitely something I'd do if i had a choice in my home plan.

well ofc, he ran out of duct tape for the gerbils (for the unspeakable things they do to those little rodents), so now he's been able to accumulate enough of 'em to run the turbine to generate electricity.
geez Hoss, whadda shame. ya just get back into the swing'o'things and i'm leaving for awhile. 5 days of riding, and then up north for 5 days of work. I'll be back by Memorial day weekend ( we don't get that; we get Victoria day weekend, which is this weekend coming up). so we'll have to leave it in OFC's capable hands to hack on ya.
and hey dude, what's up?? you've done like 3-4 posts and ya haven't once asked skinner about his fornication status.

How is Skinner? Has he found a good LDS chick to shack up with yet? Better yet, the JW's usually come by in pairs (can you say skinner sandwich?).
Posted by: BlackandRedWarrior
LMAO. I see HOss is still in fine form.
Yeah, no Mormon chicks. A friend of mine made this list of all the women I know online and mention (so he can keep them straight...) and the Mormon at the top of the list has a note to the tune of "Momon = frelled in the head." I lost it reading that.
Skinner Sandwich? Naw, that's ok. I'll just take one. I can barely deal with one woman's BS at a time. Not sure how Hoss and his ilk with a dozen wives handle it. Oh wait...they are obedient to the man right? You just lock them in their room until you need some service? If that's the case, maybe I'll go join. There's a church around the corner from my house.
Posted by: Whitewater
Skinner, I&39;m quite picky on whom I choose to be one of my wives. First, I have a height and weight ratio requirement. Second, she must be college educated so she can adequately support me. Third, she must have some technical skills (i.e., welding, auto mechanics, kayaking / rafting, technical climbing, outdoor survival skills, erotic dancing, etc.). And last, but not least, a willingness to try “NEW” things. ?
And if Miss Kitty reads this, I&39;m currently recruiting.
Posted by: OneFlyCowboy
What is your height ratio formula? I go by the 5'0" 110lbs and for every 1" over 5' they can have 5 more lbs so at 6' she could weigh 170 That there is OFC's recomended weight for womens. I take in factors for silicone or saleen boobies and stuff. i forgot Bust > Waist < Hips
How man sheep you got now Hoss. I know its lonely with the family stayin up north
Posted by: Whitewater
OFC, I&39;m not alone anymore. The fam moved down about 6 weeks ago. However, I still keep a ewe or two around just for fun.

Ick, meetings. We've only had one that I can recall actually having and that was when we switched 401(k) providers. Previous one blew. Now with another company and they are MUCH better. I get monthly statements showing me how much money I DON'T have. LOL. Most of the meetings I'm involved with is very informal stand around a desk and a set of plans discussing what needs to be done on the design or talking about how F.U.ed the job is. LOL.
One more day and them I'm off to ride Pismo. Meeting a bunch of new people. At least one family from around here (and around where I live somewhere.) I think I'll know like 5 people there (Karyn & her daughter, Karyn's friend, another guy I've ridden with and of course LJ is coming on down.)

I thought you had already left BR&WWeather should be gorgeousSuppose to hit 96up here this weekend. Friends brother just came back this past weekend. Said it was greatother then the wind picking up. I don't mind the wind as long as it's not blowing like a sand blasterand it smooths out the dunes

When it gets windy I had for the boonies (i.e. the back dunes.) Usually nobody is out there, the wind isn't that bad, and the dunes are like silk. Nice and smooth. Usually hella choppy out on the foredunes and sand highway is like a washboard.
Woohoo...hours...just hours. LOL Office is going to be deserted tomorrow. Super is in LA for a wedding. I'll be off to Pismo. And the off. mgr.'s daughter is graduating from Fresno St. so the office manager will be gone for something. Now that's a great girl. Beautiful, smart, talented. Great photographer. Had a full 4 year Smithcamp Honors College scholarship. Only had to pay for her meal plan. Dorms, books and a Mac included.

We try to stay away from Sand Highway. Unless, we need to head right back to camp, then we take it.
A free ride at Fresno St. sounds nice

Yeah it was. Esp. for her mom. She was in the first "class" of students to get it. They got all kinds of stuff. Free copies. Too bad she's got a nut job for a father. Kinda bad when you carry pepper spreay because you are afraid of your religious wacko for a father. That guy STILL comes around to our office. His wife left him in June of 99. SIX years this guy has been still coming around. Last 6 mos. if that he's gotten worse. He's "found God". Sheriff told my coworker she'd have a better chance of getting a restraining order if she were dead.

Wow!! Did I pick the right time to come back or what?!?!?!

Welp ended up not going to pismo and instead went up and did some wheelin. Met up with some people up by the snow and hooked up with them. A couple lifted, locked, winched toyotas and a 70 somthing jeep and another toyota.. Ended up going across a pretty fast and deep river and some mud holes. Had water up to the doors but it was fun! I met up with em at like 4 or so and didnt get outta there till 7:30. Gave em my cell number so the can call meh next time they come up an go wheelin. Its gonna be fun this summer..
Ill post some pics in a while of the creek and one of the toyotas having problems in the middle of the river. lol Dont have any pics of me crossing though.

LJ, that sounds like funI'm sure I don't need to remind you about the dangers of crossing swift and fast riversEspecially this time of year. Where did you end up going? Next time you go, let me know. Maybe I can get my 2 brothers to go. They need to get their Jeep wheels wetfor they are still "wet" behind the ears with running their Jeeps off-road
