I have the shifter, when I first installed it it had a bad computer they sent out a new computer that fixed that, a couple of switches went bad they made good on them, the motor went bad 2 weeks ago they made good on that. I have about 800 mi on it it works real well and would not ride without it again. I am paralized from the waist down from a sled accident 3.5 yrs. ago and depend on it , the guys from cycle country know this and send the parts over night .. over all I think it is a good product and would by it again. If you are worried about water as I was, I park the bike in the water about pipe deep to swim for hours never had a problem with water ... Bill
PS. The rule winch is on the bike also under water and no problems with that either

I believe there is an Arctic Cat 500 owner that has the Electric shift kit.

The Rule is a waterproof, no needto add silicone.

Zrt1000:
Hey, just curious if you ran any silicone around your winch due to the water to help seal it better. I don't get into water that deep very often, but have done it a few times and wasn't sure if it was necessary, or just a good idea. Preventative maintenance I guess.
Thanks,
Mike

Anyone out there using or know someone who uses the Cycle Country electric shift setup on their manual Quads? I have a buddy who wants to put this set up on his ATV but we don't know how well it works.

I have the shift kit and it works well I have had no problems with it other than I was the first to have it installed here and I got to be the test dummy as far as the installation went but other than a few cosmetic things with the install so far so good.
