How much did you pay? I just got the new Rocky Mountain Catalog and the brake pads are $22 each, or $132 for from and rear.

What kind of wear can you expect out of the factory pads or aftermarket for that matter? I've got about 700 miles now, and still don't need brakes. I don't get on them very much though and I keep them clean. Seems good compared to the 250- 500 miles most Polaris owners get out of theirs. Of course they are on the brakes more with their automatic transmissions.

I checked My brakes all around last night and found that they are still in excellent condition. Plenty of life left in the pads front and rear after 747 miles. Better than I expected after hearing of how long most Polaris stock pads lasted. I did find that I have a slightly bent tie rod on the right side. I doubt I do anything about it though because it doesn't seem to be any problem right now. Last week I hit about a foot deep rut with the right tire going about 15mph, and I bet thats what did it. I didn't flip cause I got on the brakes in time, but it did spin the back end of the quad around sideways in the road. Maybe I'll pay more attention to the road and less to who's behind me from now on.

The Dennis Kirk catalog has two brands that make pads for the Arctic Cat. I forgot the name of them and the price, but they are in there. I need to get a Rocky Mountain catalog if they have one.

Anyone know of any brake pads for AC's besides the factory ones? Local Dealership wanted $13.00 a pad...not a pair. $78.00 to replace all. I looked real hard at the ones on mine and i didnt see any gold in 'em......

All artic cats use the same size brake pad.
I bought some EBC brake pads from Rockymoutain ATV and theve already outlasted the ones u buy from arctic cat. If you would like the phone number or order number send me some mail.

look in the links section and got to like Box Brakes...I cant rember thr url thats whay im tellin you to go ther.e...They make pads out of brass and they say they work better than other ones...check them out
