I have a 98 with about 1,800 trouble free miles. Top speed when I first got it was about 44 mph. Now it will run 47 mph. I can hit 50 on the black top. The AC does top out better then my Honda 300 4X4. The Arctic Cats do get faster with age.

On the contrary. My 99 AC500 is about 3mph slower than it was a year ago. 1100 miles, all maintainence performed. Just not as fast top end. Maybe it has something to do with the colder weather, but I don't know.

I have a 2000 it will do about 40-43

on a 300 im not sure, the 500 will run about 55-60
