I think the 650H1 hp is 47, but I don't remember the torque. I do know that the 650H1 makes most of its torque in the low RPM range and thus is great for pulling.

If he has a bomb 650 traxter XT, he won't beat you. Those motors are not the same ones in the the Can-Ams. They are good for pulling, but are not that fast. You should have no problem from start to finish. Now if he has the can-am vtwin, that is another story, but the one you mentioned, no problem. Two of my co-workers have the 650H1 and love it. I personally look for AC to keep that 650H1 motor around for a long long time and I wouldn't be supprised if they build an 800H1 as well as start using the same design for the 500 and 400 class. Just my thought.

Bumpers are winches are damn nice to have on the trail and in the mud. I've saved fenders more than once by having my bumpers and I've pulled myself and numerous others' out with the wince. The aluminum wheels look nice and don't rust like the steel ones. I bought and LE and will buy it again on my next machine.

the 650v2 (633cc)is kawasaki. the 650 H1(641cc) is arctic cats only motor(at the time). the older model 250s up to the 700 are suzuki. the newer 250s are not i believe.

Alloy wheels and beeps and whistles - functionally they are the same.

I know Suzuki supplies quite a few of Arctic Cats engines, but I read where Lombardini supplies the new 700 Diesel... what I'm curious about is who manufactures the 650? Arctic Cat itself or what?

Ahh. That explains it. Thank you for your help. - Know what the difference between the 650 LE and regular 650 4x4 is?

So unless one absolutely had to pull all the stops the regular 650 H1 would be the way to go. Thanks much. You've all been wonderful help. ^-^

I was at the local AC dealership today. They have a beautiful 650 H1 on the show room floor. Thought I'd look it over some. It's an awesome machine, of that there is no doubt. I even filled out the credit app... The problem? I was denied. Sigh. Upside, if I get someone to co-sign on the loan it wouldn't be a problem they said. So, I'm down to kissing butt. - Despite all of this! I was wondering, what's the HP and Torque ratings of this machine? Just something I'm rather curious about.
As for the Winch I'm definately going to have one put on my next quad. Wanted to put one on my TB but I couldn't find any real good places to set it up at. Ah, well. Next time!

I did the unthinkable. I bought it. XD Dang impulse shopping.

That surprises me a bit. Puts the H1 right up there on par with the Sportsman 700. There's a guy around here who owns a Bomb Traxter 650 XT. He wants to race my poor pussy cat. Somehow I think he'll win in the top speed department but I might get him off the line.

You think so? Well, only time will tell. I'll wait till my machine is properly broken in and then we'll see what happens. As for an 800H1 That'd be something to see.
