a friend of mine just took the black plastic piece off his. its kinda red neckish but hey, it works. the pvc comes up between the handle bars and the front rack. (best i can explain it). two intakes ,one for air, one for the belt. it all fits nicely though.

yeah he took it all of the front. he said its easier to do ,but isnt there just a black piece on there also? he put the plastic back on but left the black piece off. wish i had a pic.

No you do not. I installed and uninstalled my hidden snorkles with the radiator plastic cover removed, and the rest not removed.

For those of you with snorkels, did you remove the front plastic to install it? I'm sure that it would make it easier to do, but how hard is it to remove the body and is it worth it?

Thanks for the reply. I see how they go. I was wondering if you have to remove the front plastic to install it? Do you know if your friend had to or not?

Het v2rider, were you also able to remove the stock scoop above and in front of the radiator, or did you just leave it in there?

i just brought up my thread on an easy snorkle......i do not recommend using pvc though..in trees your likely to break it off. i used inch and a half flexable sump pump hose
