I wanted to know if someone has some and how they like them etc.
I am also considering some Goodyear Rawhide Grip that I can get a set of 4 for $223.00
98% of my riding is on designated trails. I don't do much mud stuff except if it is part of the trail and even then I will take the easy way through or go around. I am a destination rider. I plan a trip of between 70 and 100 miles and my goal is to complete the ride. I guess you could call it mostly touring, sightseeing or what ever. We take camera's and food and at mid point will stop and have a picnic and then do the return trip.

I got a pair of MudCats, I only run them on the rear. I run MudGears on the front, because I wanted the agressive side cleats on the front tires only. The MudCats are an awsome tire. Will grip about anything and are very smooth on the trail, they work well in the mud too. They are a flat profile tire so I don't know how the steering would be with them on the front - probably a little heavy steering.

I have looked at the Mudcat and it looks like what I will be putting on the ole foreman. The center cleat loks like it wold be great for trail and the side lugs should have plenty of b i t e . I recieved an e-mailed picture of the tire from TBC and it give a good all around look at the tire. I would be happy to forward this e-mail to anyone need a good look at a great looking tire. I am looking to get the 26-9-12's and 26-12-12's and I hope this won't be too much for the bike.
