I am thinking about a 700 myself. So did you buy and where? Who gave you the best deal?? Thanks J.

I would get the LE one at that price. Anything that goes wrong will withing the first year (for the most part) so that extra year of warantee doesn't mean much to me. Sure you can buy the bumpers for around that price, but those rims are expensive. I love them. True that the paint won't hold up as well, but if it does flake that is actually a warantee issue and many people have gotten all new plastic out of it.

buy it man then take the money you saved and buy tires and a cdi for it oh and a winch, brush guards, clutch kit, hand guards, all the mrp attachments, and a big bore kit lol but seriously that is a good price.

go with the 07 i personally would like to have the 1 more year of warranty. so in that last year if you drop a motor or tranny it will be worth it.

i have had my winch under water and mud and steaming and then submerged it and it has never even gave me a hickup. i hook the winch hook on the top of my rack cause when i need it the winch is submerged and i don't have to reach in the mud and water to get the hook. i have had 3 other atv's other then this one that have had winches on them with the same results. i have abused the bajesus out of them so that whole thing with them not being sealed and will give you problems is falsified.

I paid 7300 for my 2006 650V2, so yes, i would say its a decent deal

thats a tough choice. But for 250 dollars, you will damn near be able to buy the Bumpers yourself. I also dont like the wheels. But if its an LE, it should have a winch. If it also has the winch, it may not be a bad choice. Why only a 2yr warranty? I would say yes, but i want the 3yr warranty. The 2yr thing makes me think it is used. If so, get the 07

I agree. My Venom2500Xt has been under water ALOT! I havnt had a single problem with it

I got my 07 700EFI for $7236.00 OTD with my permits included

I like it a lot. and even more now that I got my sway bar on it. I pull a drag harrow (made more for a pick up or small tractor) behind it in our smaller pastures and it pulls it with no problem. It has gotten a little more get up with the more miles I put on it. One of the first things that I would do other than hand warmers is the sway bar big improvement.

Those are SE models that is the same thing as the LE minus the winch. If you dont like the wheels and are planning on a change then go with the 07 you can get the bumpers for 20% below what the acc. book has around $130 for the front and $103 for the rear. The winch that is on the LE is a 2500 warn and is not sealed the only 2500 sealed warn winch is the new xt and rt series. but get the 3000lbs. winch for the extra $ it is worth it. As for the paint think about how you car would hold up if you took a branch and drug it across the hood wouldn't look pretty. It's auto paint. to many people have complained about the paint scatching, chipping, and cracking the plastic under it is holding up, but not the paint. IMO I would stay away from the paint. And the difference in a 2 and 3 year warranty if you decided on the orange tell them only with a 3year.

weez440 and v2rider maybe you should read the statement that I made I said not a thing about them giving any problems I just stated a fact straight from Warns web site that is that the only 2500lbs winch that is sealed is the new xt and rt series so there for it is not falsified it's a fact. If it were myself and I was going to have to go out and buy a new winch I would get the 3000lbs. little more power never hurts more line speed.and when both are pulling the same weight the one with the least amount of power has to draw more power from somewhere. just some things to think about. I've been stuck in a jeep that took 2 9000lbs winches one with a block on it for a total of about 27000lbs of pulling and was wondering if we where going to get it out. we would have burnt a single 9000lbs winch up on something that only weighs a 3rd of the rate of the winch. So I think more is better.

Sounds like a good price to me. I paid $8,700 for my 700 le with a plow.

I am looking to buy a new ATV. Preferably an Arctic Cat. I was able to get the dealer to drop the price to $6799.00 + Tax and Dealer Prep which equals out to about $7400.00 out the door for an 07 700EFI. Is this a decent price or should I look elsewhere? Thanks.

I wasn't for sure. I am just now getting back into it after a few years off. She hit me at first for like $8175.00 otd and I didn't show much interest in that price. So I hit them for the $6799.00 and was told there was no way but she would check with the manager. She came back and said he accepted. I told them I would let them know something by the weekend. They agreed and said it goes back to their first offer after Sunday. I like the deal where I get the 3 year warranty too I think I am going to bite. I love diving into the pool of debt...lol. Thanks for the replys.

How are you guys liking them so far?

Decisions, decisions, decisions... I went to pick it up today and was talking to my salesman when he hit me with something else. He told me he had an 06 700EFI LE in the back in the orange. He brought it around and showed it to me and told me I could have it for $250.00 more. I like the bumpers on it but the wheels I really don't care for. Plus I don't know how the orange paint would actually hold up under trail use. It also only has a 2 year warranty instead of the 3 with the 07. What do you all think?
Posted by: Bowlsie
He told me the 06 Editions only had the wheel/tire package and the bumpers. He said that on any of the new left over 06 Cats that is was a 2 year warranty. Didn't make much sense to me either. You would think they would want to move the 06's. They have a leftover 06 H1-LE too and it doesn't have a winch. Maybe they are taking them off and selling them....LOL. I have til Monday to make up my mind now and really don't know what to do.

Well considering I still haven't bought one I don't see how you have helped me out. I still hadn't decided on which one to buy and from where, but you just made my where to buy decision much easier. When I do decide to buy though, I will be sure and let you know where I bought it from and let everyone else know why it did not come from Route 119 Powersports in Danville, WV. Hope that helps you sleep even better.

Julio I still haven't bought one. In my opinion though all the dealers seem to have offered decent deals. The best deal was offered at Princeton Powersports and the guy I dealt with was really good. He didn't put any sales pressure on me and plus they deal soley with Arctic Cat which would also be a plus imo. I think in the end I will probably buy from the dealer who has the best service after the sale and who just doesn't see me as a dollar sign. One dealer I went to where I was first going to buy ruined it because they sent credit apps to a bunch of different banks after I was told it was just to "review" my credit information to see if they thought they could get me a better rate. This was after the fact I had already told them that I did not want my credit submitted anywhere unless they could definately get me a better rate approved, not to mention they have nothing better to do than sit and stalk possible buyers on the internet and then leave nasty comments on message boards. I definately will not be buying from them now and will encourage others to do the same. I ended up having to replace my hot water tank and breaking a toe so I have had to put things off for a few weeks. I figure I will end up buying within the next 2 weeks. But like I said they all offer decent deals withing a couple hundred dollars of each other.
