Sometimes they say you need a clutch puller, but if you are good with a screwdriver and your hands you don't need it. But, if you can follow directions I am sure you can put the kit in.

I am interested in a kit, where do they sell them for the V2?
Posted by: v2rider
I have one, and havnt needed it yet. But i heard the best belt is the brute force 750 belt. What is a link to epi website?

Dennis kirk has a good selection of clutch kits for the 650 v2. You can also check out Highlifter. Hey v2 if you put a kit in yours let me know how it does. Epi makes one that you use with the dyna tek you can see it at their web site. Also I was reading in one of my atv mags that the belt by highlifter is supposed to be one of the best because it is made out of kevlar. So I went to their site and it is a dayco hpx (high performance extreme) So I may get a dayco belt for mine.

I did a clutch kit on my Yamaha Wolverine 450 4x4, I do not know how mechanical you are and what kind of tools you have available, But I did not have much trouble. If you search for Wolverine and check all topics then you should see my post with instructions under Wolverine 450 EPI Clutch Kit. I would think that the same basic principles would apply and you should get instructions with your kit when you buy it.
