Nice! DId you end up getting the dial-a-jets all perfect and dialed in too? You should be good with a 2" intake now.

That sounds like a personal problem.... BR>

V2, check to make sure you have water in your battery. They are known for being low and needing to add some every year.

If you don't want to re-jet just use 1.5" hose instead of a 2" hose. That is all it takes. Good luck!

Here is the best most informative place for the Snorkel.

www.arcticchat.com

Go to this site, then click on Performance\Technical Info, then scroll all the way down the page, and click on the post labled "Snorkel"

At any rate, i went to Napa, bought part number 7905, which works perfect for the 650. There is a box in front of the atv that the belt exaust, and airbox hose connect. I took the stock hose off the airbox, and cut it at the second angle, and put it back on the primary airbox, so it comes off and goes straight up. The belt exaust hose comes off, and i took the hose from napa, cut it at the angle, and it slides right over the pipe the original hose was located. The remaing piece of hose left from the napa hose will fit on the other hose on the left, if needed.

I havnt got the jets dialed in yet, its been so cold outside, i wanted to dial them in at about 30 degrees, which i think today will be close enough!

I finally got the jets dialed in. WOW!! I thought i was done adding power. The dial-a-jets make a difference as to it pulls harder from takeoff all the way through the powerband. I had a slight hesitation at takeoff, so i backed the mix screw out about a 1/4 turn each, and it seems perfect so far. I will see when it warms up more. Im very pleased right now. But now i need a new battery I shut off the quad, and ticktickticktick. The battery wont hold a charge. Any suggestions on a good battery?

I have to make caps, which is pretty easy

Any chance you could take a few more pictures and post some commentary about your snorkel project?

I'm very interested in exactly what you did, which components you used, and how you routed it.

Thank you very much.
