They really talk up the extended warrenties but they rarely payoff. They are a hassle to deal with because the dealer has to get OK for every item a labor and they will pick it apart. I hated having to deal with them, they do not have any ties to Arctic Cat so they can do what they want. Not worth putting good money into.

Yah, a warantee is nice, but nothing I would pay for either. Consumer Reports, for the most part, will ALWAYS tell you that you are better off NOT getting the extended warantee on items.

i wouldn't worry bout it. for the most part a very large percentage of the cats are very good quality and you may be throwing your money away. my warranty is up on mine and i guess it doesn't bother me cause it was never in the shop once in 2 years. then again it is a personal preference. i like the warm fuzzy feeling that warranty gives me but i am not gonna pay for it.

i guess im considered a lucky customer. i bought the warrenty for my 02 500 in oct. 2002. (still under warrenty) my warrenty has payed off for me. i got all new shocks on it when one would not adjust. i told them if one wont work then the others may not work later. so they replaced them all.
my driveshaft to the rear end started leaking. fixed that.
my brakes failed several (6)times, i believe they are permanatly fixed now.
broke 2 axles with oversize tires. 27'589's.
thats it. nothing has happened for about 2 years now. bike runs great! 500 bucks was worth it to me.

The only thing those stinkin warranties cover on the quads is the engine and transmission, IF they deem it necessary. Pass on the warranty.

I just found out my AC 05 v2 I just bought used has an extended coverage, but here is th ecatch. It expires Aug 16. This is with cat care. I called my dealer and I can swap it over and add to it but what is your thoughts and experience? Good, bad, cat care, or is there someone else that caries it? Not sure of the cost as they are getting back to me on it. Thank you for your time

Ok thank you for your time. I have not even gotten a call back from the dealer yet anyways. So I guess customer service is out the window again.

Thank you very much for the help and information. Seeing as to how it has been 72 hours after I talked to my dealer and still no word about the warranty, after he said he was going to get right back within a few minutes. I guess he has lost out on the sale of the warranty. Also he might be losing the sale of my wife&39;s TRV. As we were suppose to have word on the delivery date 9 days ago and still no word as to when we get it. Were told 8-10 business days and we could pick it up. I really hate the way customer service has been going lately. What is wrong with picking up the phone and making a 2-minute call just to keep the CUSTOMER informed. Geez

Again Thank you ALL for your help and valued information
