Hey oldy, I think the dial-a-jet would work great for you. As if I am not mistaken it automatically adjusts the jet size as needed (to an extent). Do what V2 said and disconnect your rollover sensor. Also, do you have a new CDI? There are a lot of mods you can do to your ATV. Good luck

Check tires for deflation, belt for deflection. BR>

We all knew what you meant, but deflation and deflection are two entirely different things. Just thought I would lightheartedly point it out so don't make the same mistake twice. But hey, if you wanna call it deflation you go right ahead.

well the dealer should have put in a new jet kit for your alt. but you might want to call and ask them? you will need to rejet for your riding and better preformance i dont own a 650 but i know here in utah we have to rejet. welcome and have fun!!!!

Rjet first, then if it still cuts out going over objects, your rollover sensor is to sensitive, and you can easily fix this by crossing the black and red wire, on the back of the quad, by the gas tank. If there are certain accessories you are looking for, let me know and i will post where i got mine. Also, i reccomend changing the oil and oil filter to amsoil products (www.amsoil.com) and the front and rear diffs to amsoil gear oil. If you need any pointers, let me know.

Hi everyone I just signed up for the board and have several questions. As I am a new AC owner
First and foremost is I have been told I need a high altitude kit in my used (new to me) 05 AC V2 650, I have about 1500 miles on it. I live at about 3300 ft elevation and ride the mountains by my house alot and can see as high as 6500 ft. When going to our riding spots I can get speeds up to about 63 mph which is more then fast enough for me but after up at altitude and going cross country I have what seems to be fuel problems. When driving over stumps or objects it dies most of the time. Which becomes very frustrating. As it usually dies at the worst time.

So this brings me to here. Am I getting sold a bill of goods or is this for real? Also it it something that can be done at home, if so is there a web site that can give a dummy hints? It sounds correct to me but just wanting to check.

Also am looking for aftermarket pieces and parts and web links

Thanks for ALL of your time.

Thank you fellow riders for your words of wisdom. But what size jets should I be looking for or have in the ac?? Sorry to sound so green. But I just dont want to lean her out to much and burn her down. I am sure I can figure out how to get the carbs off and all that good stuff. I am looking to do this all on my own as our local AC shop is very much less then desirable. Had to drive 120 miles to get my wifes machine on order, it should be here in 5-7 days. Again Thank You for YOUR time
