Yup, they work. I haven't done it to my yet (Wife says money doesn't grow on trees...) but I know a bunch of people that have done it. It is pretty easy, I think there might be one part you have to cut off with a dremmel but maybe that is only on the V2... Either way, you can get it to fit and it totally cuts out all the heat.

No, they don't. Maybe you could line them up and see how much you would have to cut, and jimmy-rig, but it isn't an easy way like it is for the 05 and newer Cats.
