I did have the opportunity to look at both machines this weekend and noticed the same thing in terms of bumpers and racks. Overall the Cat looks beefy. I guess this is why it is 100lbs heavier and $400 more.

Who are the good dealers in central / southern, MN?

Check out Country Cat in Sauk Centre, MN. That's where I bought my Bombardier before they sold Bomb to Centre Sports Inc., and I had a good experience with them on the sale, and later when I needed service. The Wanderscheid brothers (Dave, Mark, PJ).

Installing the winch on the Cats is a slam/dunk deal. I've done a couple nd the instructions are very good and it is not brain surgery. As to the Grizzlys, I ride with 2 guys that have them and both have had overheat problems. From what they say it is the nature of the beast. I think it is to much plastic covering the motor to keep heat a from the rider.

Where in MN are you? I know a few good dealers in the south, central, and north/west part of the state.

Check out the Quadmasters this weekend in St Cloud. All day Saturday and SUnday, held at the benton co. fairgounds. All 8 manufactors are going to be there.

Miller Marine here in St CLoud is actually really good.
Thomas Sno Sports is antoher good one, he is a best price dealership so he doesn't go any lower then his listed prices (which are really good), but you can take those prices and show them to other dealers.
And in Fairmont, MN is Dougs Sports Center is really good. Ask to speak to Doug though, as his help isn't the best. You can talk them down in there prices, and they have AWESOME service. They also sell Yamaha so you could get a good comparison there.

Good Luck!

Take a serious look at the bumper quality on the two. My buddies Grizz bumpers are CRAP. I like his machine, but the racks and bumpers are very light duty.

Ive installed everything on my quad so far( nothing hard, new tires+rims, changed diff fluid to synthetic, oil change, venom winch) Its pretty simple on these arctic cats!

I am still shopping and trying to justify the price difference between the 660 Grizz and the 650 H1.

I want to get the H1 but the additional $$ are scaring me off. I an effort to justify to my self I am considering installing the mounting bracket for plow, winch and hand warmers (I'm from cold country) myself.

Anyone have feedback on how difficult this would be?

Do you think I could screw it up and live to regret it?????

Who's got the best AC prices in MN??????
