I have an easy fix for you, hold the brake lever in when you start the ATV.

my bike will only start with the break held on, like the start in gear feature, only the bike is in neutral, the break light works, the neutral light works, everything that is suppose to work works, the only trouble is you have to put the break on to start it. anybody have any suggestions? the bike is an 04 650

well that i knew, they are saying probably another wiring harness i need, if that is right, this will be the second one put in.

lol...your right that is easy, actually i wouldnt worry about it, but they are changing my frame, so the harness will get changed at the same time. its off warranty, but they are still giving warranty on some things. bonuses of a great dealer
