Not to worry. Ihave a 2006 650V2 and it is the actuator. Enjoy your V2, I know i do!!!!!! Dont you love the Vtwin power?

Hi- this is my first time with the Kawi belt drive, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not.
After stopping, I hear what sounds like an electric actuator run for a second after the machine comes to a halt. Similar to the sound from the actuator for the 4wd. Is this normal? I've read the EBS is electrically operated; am I hearing something engaging/disengaging related to that?
Or is this some malfunction I should go back to the dealer with? Other than this sound, there is no performance issue with the CVT, it works great on acceleration and deceleration.

Thanks-
DT

as far as i know that noise is normal. It should make about the same noise when you turn the key on before you start it. But maybe you do have some problem. Dealer should be able to tell you quickly.
