No, check your coolant level.

You now need a way to check the actual temp of the engine and cooling system. I have an Infared temp gun. Point it at what you want to know the temp of and bingo you get a readout. It even has a lazer dot for aiming. Otherwise, take it to your dealer, that's what the warranty is for.

On my old 2004 TBX and my 2005 TBX (both 500's) they do the same as you described. Even in the dead of winter......in fact if I'm pushing through deep snow continuously the fan will run dang near nonstop.
If you take it to your dealer you won't be out anything, but I'm sure he will tell you nothing is wrong.
I hope you are enjoying the warm fall you've been having.......I'm thinking the weather will change by the end of the month. Hoping to get some snow here in North Dakota to get out and ride some snowmobile!
True the switch maybe working, but it is not right that it cycles on and off so much. And if it is not right he should have the dealer check it before it becomes a major problem. It's a free bee an why take a chance.

My 06 650 V2 cycles a LOT more than my 03 500. Dealer says, yes, the newer ones do, not to worry. While in for its first service he checked it to make sure..all was okay.

On my Dads 06 650 V2 the fan comes on every time after like 15 minutes, while my 06 250 2x4 came on for the first time yesterday after hours of trailriding....

I have a 2006 AC 500 auto. Just wondering......the cooling fan keeps coming on, every few minutes or so, regardless of how fast or slow i drive, in high or low. Just wondering if this is normal. Any ideas?
