why do you need 11's in the rear??, go with the 12's and your problem is solved.

I want to put a new set of treads on my 03 Auto 500 Cat,and I am sold on the mud lites. My question is,,I need 25-11-12 tires for the rear, and all that I see in the Shade Tree book is 25-10-12.. What do the sizes stand for. I assume the 25 is height,,,11 width and 12 is the rim size. And if correct, would I be sorry going with a bit narrower tire. I do very little mudding but will be plowing snow this winter,,,I hope.

correct on the sizes. one inch narrower makes for a little less traction. it just depends if it matters to you.
