I had a 2004 400 auto and loved it. It rides great. It will be harder to steer then the TRX but that is because it is bigger. After a few miles you won't even notice it. Very smooth suspension, when I jump on the TRX 200 I can tell a major difference in ride quality just from the shocks. Engine is bulletproof, however it takes a good 300 miles before that sucker is fully broken in. 2006 400's have a nice new body style too, I like it. Good luck!

I had an 04 400 arctic-cat manual over all was a good quad...Had to replace clutch at 800miles it was deffective warrenty covered it other then that no problems I put 2400miles on it in a year....The 400 steers harder than the 300 and is much harder on feul...Does ride better but will have more body roll with IRS.

Ramman,
I just bought an AC 400 4X4 two weeks ago. I went with the automatic so my wife could ride it too, and so far we both love it! Put 20 or so tough miles on it last weekend with no trouble and I'm very impressed with the three year warranty that comes with them right now.
