the new dirt devil xt's are nice. they are they same as the mudlite (not the new mudlites but the original)however the tread is solid (no gaps), my buddy just got some, ride a lot nicer then my mudlites. only thing that sucks about them is that his fronts are 12X10X12, however they only measure about 8 1/2" wide???? kind of wierd. new mudlites are EXPENSIVE!!! what the heck. when the mudlites first came out they were more or less an economy tire, now they are the most expensive tire on the market?

mud bugs are an awsome and cheep tire.
work great at a cheep price.
my buddy has them on his 700 kawi and i think they perform great in all terrane.
mud snow soft or hard pac thay work great.

i think the mud lites are a good all round summer tire.
but in the snow thay suck big time.
any time you go in snow deeper then your runningboards thay would dig for traction and then you were hung up.
mud bugs seem to ride ontop of the snow becausd there a wide and flat unlike the mudlites are a more rounded tire.
and like luvthemud said thay were cheep but now thay cost more then most other tires.
mud bugs kick the lites butt and are about half the price.

If you go with larger diameter tires than the oringinal 25's you will have a power lose due the the change in the overall final gear ratio caused by the bigger tires. Wider will not hurt the preformance.

We have several cats in the group stock with 25x11-12's that were replaced with the more common 25x10-12 size in various brands. As for tires, can't go wrong for general trail and mud with a Dirt Devil or Mud Lite!!!

What state are you in?

Hey this might sound stupid, but i have an 02 500 and was wondering about the tires. I was wondering what would work tire size on the 25x11-12's in the rear. And also looking for a cheap tire but one that withstands better than the stock dunlops. Anyone?? Thanks
