No, both are plug-ins.
I have a very low Hours (5hrs) Dyna CDI 4sale, perfect for your 650V2 @ $165.

Unfortunetly it doesn't cut out the limp mode or the reverse override. Don't get me worng though, it's one heck of a module at an awesome price. Plus the OEM style plugs means no splicing like the others, and if you need to take it in to the dealership it can easily be romoved.

Has anyone tried the Moose Power Module for the AC650 V2?Does it get rid of they limp mode and the reverse overide?Any more power?
Thanks

Does the VDI and Dyntak have to splice wires?

I bought the Dyna CDI and I love it more power and no reverse override. It woke the 650 up and like MrChetStuart I'm waiting to cut fire would and see how it pulls. This is the fastest and easys mod you can do.
Thanks

I'm interested in this too (for a different quad though)... looks like this just came out though so maybe not many takers yet. Anyone?

Just a follow up on my own post... I ordered this module for my Kawi BF 650 from theoutdoorshopinc.com earlier this week & it showed up yesterday... all I can say is for under $100, it was well worth getting. I immediately noticed much more responsiveness and power on the lower end... in fact, the quad can pull wheelies really easily now (before it was a bit difficult to make it happen). I'm anxious to get it out and cut some firewood to see how it pulls now (I didn't get a 4x4 to do wheelies around the yard), but I'm sure I'll notice a difference there too.

My humble opinion, it's well worth the $96 I paid and anyone looking for a quick mod (literally a one minute install job) should consider this Moose power module. I have no idea how it compares to the other modules out there, but I'm happy with what it did for my quad. Just thought that I would share my experience... if anyone has any questions that I may be of help with, just PM me.
