It also weighs more then my Bronco II Some states don't even consider it an ATV and it can not ride on state trails. Nice machine, but you really have to watch it.

congrats on the machine but i thought the LE came stock with a winch?? and i take it that it has the kawi motor in it? and well treat her well drive her hard and she will impress you. oh and that is a pretty good price for an LE

I don't think it's an LE, but I saw an ad last week from a local dealer here in Texas that had the 650's for $6399.

I bet that dealer is in Tyler. I put together a great deal 3 weeks ago for 2 400's. I bought 1 and the neighbor bought the other....they're not 650's, but should still be fun and capable.

Ok - I currently have an 03 AC 400. Great Machine. I actually purchased it for my wife. Now its my turn. I have poured throug the reviews - followed the threads and have determined that the 650LE is the machine for me.
So....I am going to my dealer and try to work the best deal.
What's a good price??? - Round 1 by the dealer was $7,600.
By the way - I narrowed it down to the Polaris 800, Suzuki 700 KQ and the AC650LE - What pushed me over the edge was:
1> The Polaris has no manual pull start
2> KQ - Ground Clearance -
3> AC Fuel Capacity - very good
4> KQ - Reverse Issue
5> Polaris Fuel economy
6> AC Ground Clearance - Excellent
7> Rode the Polaris - very torqey - but the transmission was sloppy - tough to get in and out of gear
8> Polaris Instrument Pod ????
9> AC MRP

Riders! Thanks for all of your valuable input - I did it! Placed the order last night - 05 650LE out the door for 7,829 including tax, reg, prep! I am pretty psyched. Should be able to pick it up on Saturaday.
I just could not turn down the 2nd year engine warranty & $69.00 winch!

Thanks - the LE does have the winch in the front - but I am installing an additional rear winch - I find myself out in the middle of nowhere by myself - provides a better comfort level.!!

No, that was just the price of the machine. It was $8k w/tax(6.5%) & license.
