Check the gasket seal on the CVT Cover. Remove the CVT Cover & Check to see if the rubber seal is doing its job, I have seen a few on the 650V2s with damaged Gasket seals.

on mine the duck bill on the bottom of the cover was not installed correctly.

Check to make sure both your snorkels are on right and that the clamps are tight. There is a "Duck Bill" drain at the bottom of the front intake snorkel. Check to make sure that it is not defective. It could be staying open slightly, allowing water to get in the belt housing.

Either your vent hose is loose or the cover bolts are loose as I have two buddies with AC 650 v2's and they can go DEEEEEP

i am having problems w/ water getting on the belt in shallow water maybe 2 to 3 feet?

I have had my AC 650V2 in about 4ft of water and have stopped as soon as I got out and made sure the drain was open and revved it up a little.
Also go through it in low at a slow speed.
Hop this helps
