I put a Dalton kit in mine and it said the same thing "for use in correcting oversize tire strain" or something like that ! I have no problems?!? With the kit that is ! I'm still running the stock Goodyear 26's. As I recall reading the pink spring will just make it engage at a higher RPM so it will be a little more crisp when you take off! Just my bs/2 cents

You'll probably lose alittle top end. The stiffer springs will keep the belt from riding all the way up on the outside of the sheaves. You will have more pulling power.

Just had my dealer put in a EPI's clutch kit with the pink and black spring combo yesterday. When I got home I read the box and it said for oversized tires. To my understanding oversized tires are 27 or 28 and Iam running 26 mud lites. My question should I have him order the proper epi clutch kit or it is no big deal.
