It is underneath the crankcase near the oil drain plug!!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist..... If it is like my 500 A/C look under the gas tank on the left side and you should see the plug wire coming down to it. On mine I remove the side plate to change it.

Just bought a 99 Arctic cat 500 4x4. Where in the hell is the spark plug???

Check this out Alpha Sports It shows where it is on the diagram. Good luck wiht your ATV, those things are great, built like a tank
