I recently purchase a EPI clutch kit from high lifter for my 04 400i 4x4. I put it on just as the directions indicated...but i havent experienced the huge gains it claims to add. In fact i believe my top end has dropped off. I was expecting greater power in low range but not a lot there ethier, if any at all. Has anyone else had this problem? Did I not tighten something or take something out? thanks for any help

Check things out I noticed a big difference in low end,but my top did drop off alittle. I'm thinking about going back to stock secondary spring and trying to leave the EPI primarys in to see what it will do. But I haven't decided if I want to tear it apart and not find any topend Gains than have to change it back.
As far as power how many miles you got on your 04??? They loosen up after about 350 to 400 miles and you will nitice power gains than even more.

i use to work at a artic and polaris dealership and found that the epi kit did not work most of the time stock
was better.we would make our own kits .
