I think the only time I've ever used a warranty is on a battery on a pickup truck. But I take good enough care of my stuff. Know a guy that bought a 4 year extended warranty on a rubicon, trashed it big time, and has replaces god knows how much stuff on it through warranty. So for some it works out. I myself wouldn't use the warranty ever 9 times out of 10.
In my opinion, the locker is definitely worth it. But then again, $950 is a lot of damn money. That is seriously hard to call, seeing that both have the winch.
I have no advice for you man. I'm just glad I don't have to make this decision. Its a tough one.

Option 1 - a used 2004 AC 400cc auto with 130 miles and a winch or
Option 2 a new 2005 AC 400 cc auto with 0 miles and a winch?
The price difference out the door will be $950, is diff lock really worth it? That is money for a snow plow with money left over BR>

I'd go with the '05 if it has the front diff locker. If not, I'd save the money.

And a 2 year warrente(sp) which is worth a lot more than the locker which all the '05's have.
