They are all the same basic machine. My opinion, the DVX has the best looking plasic, best warranty, best location for the reverse knob and the worst seat....it is very hard and the DVX is a little more expensive. The two Arctic Cat dealers around here suck and calling Arctic Cat for help is useless, so you might want to consider your local dealers in making your decision.

Try to take it to that boat dealer and see what warranty work is like.....very scary. I really hope Arctic Cat makes it, but wow their dealerships need to be improved.

thats the beuty of the dvx- each fender is replacable for 20 bucks so if you roll it and bust them your out 20 bucks versus a couple hundred for a whole front or rear plastic set and the headlight sits no different than the ltz and is cheaper so that shouldnt be a concern. The only drawback is the seat is too firm and the fenders offer 0 protection from mud.

The dvx looks good, till you roll it. Then when the fenders are permanently off and the headlight is busted out, they don't look so cool. Alaska is harsh on quads, though.

I wanted to buy an Arctic Cat just because they look so damn cool. But there's not that many AC dealerships around here. The ones that are are around 45 minutes away and sell boats and all that junk.

I bought the kawi and have the zuki dealer sevice it so yes any dealer should be able to help you.
The kfx and ltz are identical except for the color of the plastic
The dvx has different style plasic and seat.

i thought they all looked the same but i wasnt sure if there were any changes to the motors, guess not though. So if i were to buy a dvx would a kawasaki dealership work on it since there isnt a suzuki,or artic cat dealer close that works on them??

yes, I belive they are all the same I have a dvx and I have rode a z400 and they feel the exact same in power I think my dvx is a little qucker, the z400 and the kfx400 are they exact same just different colored plastic.

I see you've had similar experiences as me. BUT like trick said the fenders are 20 a peice. I bought new main plastics, fenders,and headlight for 239 with tax from arctic cat. I thought that was a pretty good deal. The headlight alone was like 40ish... The main body plastic is all one peice though, that is kinda a bad deal. The fenders dont stop anything from coming up... gravel, mud, water.... whatever it is if you go through it, its going to be all over everything. These things really come to life with a few mods though.

Id say the Dvx is the best not cause of preformance cause duh ovisouly there all the same but the DVX looks way better than the Kfx and the Z400 juse my opnion and there all the same price so ya.. i thinks its 5799 thats stock price i dont know what a dealership might give you.. and what the hell tere all the same stock price and if you have a AC dealer like the best around the country (CANADA) id think youd go arctic cat 2 and how can you complain about the seat (Just wondering)

Do any of the 3 quads fenders protect from mud just wondering (ive only riddin the dvx out of kfx,z,dxx) i might get a chnace to ride a z400 my freind might buy 1. still hands down arctic cat whooped zuks and kawa's anus, I wonder if cat will ever start making there own racing engines,,
