The DVX is a very nice quad. Not as fast as a Raptor, YFZ450, or Banshee, but will seem like a rocket compared to your Warrior. I am very happy with mine.

I used to have a 2001 warrior and in 03 made the upgrade to my Z400. Night and day difference was my first impression and then i got the chance to ride with 3 guys all on 2000 and up warriors. The warrior is a fun bike but when it came down to performance there was a pretty big difference whether in the woods or on fire roads I pulled away from them fast. The price you were given on the Dvx seems like a good one, good luck

basically the same until now. the 05 Z has changes to the bike and engine that did not make it to the 05 DVX.

So far I've been very happy with mine.Performance should be the same as the Suzuki and Kawi 400s.My complaints so far are the plastic scratches very easily and the rear skid plate is a piece of crap.I have a warrior as well and the DVX is much faster and handles much better.I still like my warrior but getting back on it after riding the DVX the warrior just feels like a tank.

i would do it in a heartbeat that is the funnest quad i have ridden in a field it wheelies like a beast and rides 2 wheels like a champ and is just a wicked awesome quad

yeah the one i am looking at ass all the combat mods on it (well that is how dealer says it) it has full skid plates and nerf bard and front bumper i can get it for 5400 lucky me i know the owner personally

Go for the dvx dude they are really nice. I got one about a month ago and love it. I already started racing it. It is a beast on the track.

They are a pretty decent machine except that if you weigh over 160 pounds and ride hard like myself you will need to change ot the suspension parts.

well i dunno really how it does against others but im sure its good... but i think the stock top speed is 126 kph which is like 70 mph

Yeah the z400and dvx400 are the same except for the plastic. same motor same chassis. kawasaki's kfx400 is also the same bike.

The Z400 exhaust will bolt up just fine. I also had an 01 Warrior before the DVX and the DVX absolutely destroys it in acceleration and handling. The Warrior still has it's place on real tight technical trails though. I have also raced mine and it does great around the track the stock suspension will soak up anything as long as you land right. As far as comparisons i've outran two stock Raptors with guys i didn't know riding them. I have raced two V-Forces one had a DG slip-on and my front tires were even with his backs the whole way. The other had HMF duals and a clutch kit, he pulled me all the way down the strip. YFZs blow me away. My friend's Z450 blows it away. A stock 400EX however has no chance. This is when it was stock, i haven't dragged anything with my new exhaust yet.

i got a question iv been lookin for an exaust for my dvx but i cant find any.?.?.?... i heard that its jsut like the z400 can i usent a slip on or even a full exaust on the dvx???

Yea go for th dvx its a sick quad i just got mine i hada a 400 ex and then got the dvx yea the plastics scratch easy and the fenders have little tabs that the brackets hook onto to give em suipport withc are really week and break but doestn really matter yea u can get any of the 04 z 400 stuff u dont gotta just look for dvx parts

Yea i'd say get it....those little taps just break them all and put big head stainless steal bolts and nuts in there with a washer under the bottom....looks clean and works great......also watch the heal guards....i don't know 'bout anyone else but the bottoms on mine are busted out mayb i'm just too hard......get it tho a fine quad it is

To fix this issue, drill through the top of the fender through the mounting bracket and put a T nut on one side and screw it in on the other side. I had to do this to my rear fenders. Home depot has small aluminum T bolts that work great.
