Slayer,

The situation you describe does not sound like a bad battery to me. It sounds to me like your battery was fine but perhaps your alternator is not working properly. I would guess that you were running on battery power alone for 4+ hours and it finally discharged to the point that it could no longer supply spark to the plug. I would have the alternator tested to be sure it is charging the battery.

Don't know what the vibration is for sure but could be the plastic body panels vibrating. Mine also has some noisy plastics.

Hello, I just bought a AC 500 auto 4x4. I was riding at windrock for about 4 hours and my cat just shut down. It sounded like the battery because it would not start, it just clicked. Then I used the pull cord and it started but after I rode it for about 5 minutes it died again, No juice at all. I took it to the dealer and he replaced the battery saying it was a faulty battery. Before it died I heard a vibration noise or something, coming from the left side of the motor close to your foot. Does anyone know what this might be? I looked at the heat shield on the exhaust and it was tight. Any sugestions?

Denvercat, Thanks for the advice. I will ask my dealer about it.
