i myself just decided to sell my 300ex and get one of these three machines depending on who would sell it the cheapest and give me the best interest rate. ive not seen the crctic cat up close so i dont know the differances in plastic, but i do know that if it isnt very functionsal, ill rule it out. im like 600twinmd, id prefer the suzuki since they made it. by the way, what is the msrp on a new arctic cat?

I'm going to purchase a fast four wheeler and I'm looking at these three but can't make up my mind about them. I know the Z400 and DVX are like sae except the fenders and stuff but is there a difference in speed and performance in the three? I'm pretty sure there isn't but I'm making sure before I make the buy. It's either these three or a YFZ450. but I think I need to stick to someting less powerfull. Please leave comments. Thanks alot.

see I think I he it down to the z400 or th acrtic cat but they both have their downs to me in looks. I don't like the head lights on the z and I like the headlights on the dvx but I don't liek the fenders on the dvx and I like the fenders on the z. But I like the colors on the arctic cat. Anyways are the fenders really as bad as they look in person as they do in pictures cause they look too high. I've only seen a z in person. And before I buy I'm going to test drive it but why test drive em both if they are just alike. we lthanks for all of your help.

yea but I wouldn't want to take something so pretty and put it in mud/water. I would use it for the dunes. but thanks for our help. I think I'm goign to make an investment into arctic cat again.

Does anyone else know the stats to the DVX? Top Speed? Horse power? 1/8 mile on sand?? 1/8 mile on pavement??? Anything?? thx your help is helpful of course. thx alot

It's ok guys, i went the other direction and got me a 2004 orange KFX, I love it to death, go it about half a year ago in june or so, and got it for 5500 OTD so not too bad, and I love riding it. thanks for the help guys.

for 2005, i dont think (at least i cant find any thing public) that suzuki shared the new changes to its Z400 (rezzie shocks, cam, carb, +1 clutch plate, aluminum and magnesium parts, etc) with kawasaki or arctic cat concerning this model. other than that, its still a suzuki clone with different fenders, seat, and colors and a solid bike. if you want something more unique, get one. id go for the 05 Z though.

these are supposed to be the same quads. However each has different weights listed in their specs. I know the engine and suspension is the same. Dont know about tires though. YZF450 does not have reverse. I have looked into all of these quads as I am getting ready to buy new if I can sell mine. Out of the 3 z400/dvx400/kfx400 pick the one that you get the best deal on or if you have a color preference go with that. I know that sounds crazy but that is pretty much what I have heard on this site, they are exactly the same. I am partial to the suzuki since they were the originators and the others copied but I do like Kawasaki green.

cat didnt copy suzuki...suzuki owns part of arctic cat and they had an arctic cat designer re-do the plastics...and the weights are only apart by a few pounds, the performance is exactly the same...i dont know about the kfx but the cat and suzuki have the same tires

All these 3 have the same suspenison, same motor. The DVX has different fendres, and kawasaki has different colors. This quad goes around 69 MPH.
Overall there great quads.

I think they are the same, i have the dvx, and i was doing a good cleaning on it last week, and noticed on the bottom of the muffler it says "Suzuki Manufacturing" so i think they are all the same, just different plastic, even all the magazines, like Dirtwheels will even tell ya that.
