If you want a rubberized coating, the best bet is that stuff to coat tool handles. You can buy it at Home Depot. Loctite makes it, along with other people.
It comes in a can about the size of a frozen juice can. It's a thick goob that dries to a rubberized coating. Comes in many colors (including black).

Hmmm. didn't know that.
It would have came in handy for other projects.
Thanks for the tip.

Wires, they also make that in a spray can.

I was wondering if anyone had touched up the nicks and scratches on their MRP racks. Is there a rubberized coating to purchase? Any suggestions besides black gloss enamel?

i would say they are racks they are meant to be scratched, but if you want them to be durable and last i agree with using rhino lining so you wouldn't have to worry bout it again. oh and you can get any color you want
