I'm not sure what you are talking about, but the auto's have a clutch that disengages the belt at idle. If you are going fast and lets off then enginge braking kicks in.

yeah that other quad is the rincon. it will freewheel at 8 mph where there is no more engine braking. no the AC wont, it will have engine braking until you stop unless im mistakin

I read where another brand of ATV free-wheels at about 9 miles a hour.
Before I purchase my 500 auto could someone tell me if, or at what MPH
