I was tightening the bolts on the plow mount on my 375 and I broke the nut inside loose. It is a nut that is welded in place for the foot rests to bolt on. Any ideas on how to fix this? I think I may just let my dealer do it. It probably requires a welder.
I'm not that impressed with the plow mounts. They stick down too far, so forget serious off-roading while they are on, and the bolt holes don't line up easily. And then this. I wish they had a plow mount that was simpler to install and uninstall. I still like to take it off road in the winter. This really stinks.

I'm using an Arctic Cat plow. I ran it over to my dealer today. They said they'd take care of it. Its just a minor pain in the butt. They told me they'd have it for me tomorrow, before we get any snow. I think Wednesday is the next predicted snowfall, but I'm not sure it will even stick.

Yes you need a welder, either wire feed or stick with steady hand. There should be an area where you can see the nut, need to put a bolt in and tighten in place, then weld nut back on. This will make sure that hole and theads line up. Be careful not to weld on theads.

Why don't you just get a nylon lock nut and put it on in place of the nut that was welded? If I'm thinking correctly, you shouldn't have a real hard time reaching the other side of your foot board.
Are you using a Warn plow?
