Then you have a little problem. You have a winch that needs to pull between 2000 and 3000 lbs (depending on the model), so how would you want to limit that? That's what it's designed for.

I see.
I've never seen an ATV winch with a limit switch. I think they expect a little bit of responsibility from the operator.
My winch is fairly close to the rad. Seems fine though.

Has any one tried the roll bars or cages on one of these tall machines? How top heavy are the cages. I wounder if they will fit the MRP racks? Second question: Are the warn winches equipped with limit switches? Mine will continue pulling until it damages the front of the machine,,,,not good.

The limit switch that I was refering to is actually a stop when you retract the cable. So the cable will not pull the hook in and around the spool of the winch, thus damaging the winch mount. The dealer was telling me that someone actually damaged his mount by retracting to far.
How close is your winch mounted to your radiator, mine seems to nearly touch, maybe too close?

Yes, the rool bars are made and look neat, just a question of weight (top heavy) to the extreme. You can even get a canoe mount for the top of your rig, I am not sure that I would want one.
