Bendman, are you the one that is running a DG Holeshot on your Cat? I've been told that it really wakes up the 650 Cat like it does on the Prairie.

WHERE CAN i GO ONLINE TO FIND MORE INFO ON ALL THESE MODS i,ll be installing my outlaws soon just arrived new set for the front so i,ll need that black spring for sure

You guys with the artic cat 650's..... get the black spring asap!! Makes the belt tighter. Tighter belt = longer belt life and less slipping. Also i just put in a nabor mod. Similar to the dg holeshot and reds650 mod. All i can say is make sure you got a firm grip!!!!!I have a 2500 lb. warn and a custom box on the front of mine, i could get her to wheelie with some effort. But now all i have to do is try and hang on. LOL

Bendman- what jets were in your Cat and what did you change to? I'm about to change as well and any info is helpful. PS-what elevation do you ride? Thanks .

I have the holeshot in mine. It does make a difference when you hammer it off the line- after that there is no difference, no change under normal riding conditions. All in all a good mod for a little boost out of the hole- but you will never feel it unless at wide open throttle. I would buy it again. I have epi black spring as well. Grips the belt much better and makes low gear much lower with way better engine braking in high and low. I would also buy it again. I think that is a good indicator if it is worth it or not- if you would buy it again after you had it for a while. Thanks.

Where did you find enough ground to do speed runs? Seems you guys in the Bend area have a major amount of snow on the ground, even though most of the ground is fairly flat.

I live several hundred miles northwest of you, right on part of Puget Sound and we've had snow for a week now and more coming with the temps in the teens. This is very rare, had 18 " of snow about 10 years ago and in the 60's we had about a foot of the stuff with temps in the teens and twenties for 2 weeks. Very strange weather this year. I was suppose to visit a buddy of mine in Crescent down there but decided not to due to the weather. I even skipped the gun show in Tacoma this weekend.

I did the muffler mod, 2” snorkel and had new jets put in and WOW what a difference. Before I did the mods. A friend on mine that has the 660 grizzly could beat me every time. Not by too much but he still beat me. Always rubbed it in my face to. Always bragging. Any how I knew I had to do something. We went out today and he wanted to race just to show me his was faster. I didn&39;t tell him I did anything to my quad. I SMOKED him and not just by a little. I can&39;t believe it made that much of a difference. I think he was almost to cry. BR>

A buddy of ours has a driveway that's about two miles long. He has a brand new Polaris 600 It&39;s nice but as far as speed goes he&39;s not even in the ballpark Ya! there&39;s a Lot of snow here. It hasn't snowed this much here since the winter of 92 - 93. We went riding in Prineville because There&39;s too much snow here to even ride.

The original jets that were in it was 122 front and back. I let my dealer&39;s service guys decide what jet&39;s to put in. When I took my quad in I hadn&39;t done the exhaust mod yet . They ended up putting in 130&39;s frond and back. I pulled my plug yesterday and it looks good so I think I&39;m going to leave it alone. I ride from 3500&39; to around 6500&39; most of our riding being done around 4500&39;. I drilled seven 3/8” holes in my pipe (Nyroc) and It was louder that I had expected but not bad. I&39;m a wimp when it comes to noise.
No I don&39;t have the DG Holeshot in mine. I&39;m new to all this so I&39;m learning by reading stuff like this. The next thing that I think I&39;m going to do is the famous BLACK SPRING I&39;ve been hearing so much about.

Cattman, I'm glad you said that. I like my low gear how it is. I will have to check in to the Holeshot. Thanks for the info!
