Any body bought one? If so how do you like it? How much are they selling for here in the states? Seems to me the Arctic Cat 500i manual shift has a lot going for it,(disc brakes, 12 inchs ground clearance, I.R.S, with a manual trany. I have owned Honda and currently own a Sportsman H.O. Both are good quads but the Honda was boring and I don't like the automatic on the H.O.

Checked with a A.C. dealer here in Ashland, Ky. and they said they should be getting them in September, but couldn't get a price on them yet.The most appealing things to me about the 02 A.C.500 is I.R.S. with a manual shift transmission and 10 inchs of shock travel.I really don't care about the speed anymore. Some one tell me if the front differential works well or not on these A.C.500s. I have seen the Honda's limited slip in action and they don't seem to work so well, they are supposed to apply power to the wheel thats getting traction, the ones I've seen in Rubicons and Ranchers get a front tire off the ground and its the one spinning.

I bought one about 3 weeks ago, I paid $7756 +$199 for the warn 2500lbs winch. Thats in canadian dollars in american its about $5000 +$130. I don't have it yet because the dealership
that I went to said we won't have one in until November-December time frame. I don't think anyone has one yet. I can't wait to get my new cat, its going to be great. I hope you get one to, they seem to be a great bike.

Have you been reading the forum concerning the automatic? Lot of problems with bearngs. I haven't SEEN any problems with manual. I think you are right in looking at manual. I hope the owners will write and confirm their experiences with the manual. $5000 is a lot better than I can do in Phoenix. $5700 for a straight 500 '01. good luck.
