You could also get a supertrapp universal pipe and make your own braket to mount it to the frame.

Well, There have been a couple guys on the forums that have used a Supertrapp universal pipe and when I talked to the Supertrapp rep he offered to show me which pipe they were useing on the 300, but I never got a chance to go back and talk to him about it.

I have a 01 300 4x4. Is there anyway to get more power out of this machine??

I put a K&N filter on mine and took out the double screen in the air box. I am not sure what the screens purpose served but I was very happy with the end results. To me the screen was an air restriction. I would guess it was put in there as a spark arrestor in case of a backfire?? I don't know how much more the jet kit would add above the filter.

Run the machine in middle range....it is much more responsive.....There is a K&N jet kit available for it but i have had no experience with it.

Boner ...the 300 has the exhaust pipe that is bolted to the frame.....the engine moves quite a bit so arctic cat has that ball and socket joint held together with 2 springs. Thus the engine moves and the pipe remains stationary. Are you sure that aftermarket pipe will work????
