The U.S dollar does go far in Canada, our Canadian dollar is in the same boat as the Russian ruble.

Wow. You have to wonder what they will take away next. I am waiting for Texas to come up with some ground breaking new idea like an extra inspection or registration tag for trucks. Or an extra fee based on how much it can tow. There a few parks down here that require you to have a state taught safety class to ride. When you call to register for the class it is no longer offered or is not scheduled to be taught. That's a nice way of keeping you off the land. At least they don't charge you to stay off! Times like these that make me glad we own about 1000 acres.

NO CATS ALLOWED!! Well ok maybe half of them – the ones under 600lbs. You can&39;t register an ATV if over 600lbs. in Pennsylvania. I am sure this goes for several other brands as well. It is too bad, the state has some decent clubs and trails.
My goof – I saw on the Pa. ATV laws website (prior to purchasing the AC 400 4x4) that the ATV had to be less than 700lbs. – but that is one with a bench seat, 600lbs. if you straddle the seat??. I guess Pa. just wants the Raptor and EX group (this is not a slam on you folks, there are times I would appreciate a high performance trail machine, but my choice right now is utility/trail). The speed limit on Pa. organized trails is 35 mph. so for all the “Good you guys go too slow any ways” remarks - ***s off.
That is OK, I can spend my money in Canada just as easy – maybe even able to spread it out a bit more! We take weekend trips here and there, by the time you add hotel, gas, permits, meals, etc. – I guess we can be classified as tourists. The Adirondacks forced us into Canada several years ago and we never went back – for snowmobiling that is.

Bill what changed? After getting my self all up in "Tizzy", I found out there is current legislation in your state to raise the weight limit from 600 to 800 - but I didn't think that went through yet. Thanks, David.
