I installed the EBC pads on our 400 and 500 cats. The factory front pads could have stayed in for a while longer but I didn't want to tackle the job again this spring/summer. The pads are a tight fit in the calipers. I had to use a dremal tool with a sanding wheel on it to file the left and right edges down just a slight bit. I only took the coloring off and some extra casting material so that the pin that holds them in the caliper would line up with the hole in the pads. The EBC pads fit much more securly in the caliper opposed to how the factory pads wobble a bit in the caliper. I purched a set of new factory pads from the dealer on Saturday just to compare and have an extra set on hand for emergencies. They felt graet after I broke them in a bit. I don't think it is a huge difference over the factory pads but hopefully they will last much longer than the 250 miles I got out of the factory ones. I'll keep you guys posted.
