Well with the 26/27 Titians you will probaly lose less power than the bi/tri-CLaw magnums cause of weight, overall size, and traction. If you are ok with alittle more power lose and fell you can pull it I think the 26/27 Titians will do you great. I know someone that pulled 26x9.5/27x10 Vamps on his 300 and never NEEDED superlow range, so you should do find.

He is not going with the 27's on the front, they are going on the rear and the 26x9's are going on the front. Those should fit with no rubbing.

Have a good look at Mud Buggs, my bud has set & they work very good in all conditions plus they still ride not to bad.

That would be my choice too, the 589's. I couldn't decide between those or the Outlaws, then I got a great deal on the Outlaws which swayed my decision. I was looking at the same size 589's as you for my 300. One thing I learned from looking at aftermarket tires is, the pictures do them NO justice whatsoever. In person, the 589's look awesome! MIke

I vote for the 25 inch 589's. The 27" 589's will rub slightly on the front shocks. I have a set of 26" 495's on my '99 500 gear. I bought a set of 589's for my wifes '00 500 auto to push snow. With the 495's I had to use chains to get enough traction. With the 589's I do not slip tires without chains. I have not had the 589's in the mud yet, but I have a friend who is a regular mudder. He has tried every "tractor tire" he can find. He swears by the 589's.

I'm looking into new tires for my 300 4wd AC. I want to be able to make it through the deep, nasty mud holes, but I do alot of trail riding, so I don't want Outlaws or Vamps. The choices I'm thinking about are: 27/12/12 tri-claws, 26/9/12 bi-claws 26/11/12 bi-claws, 25/9.50 bi-claws 27/11/12 and 26/9/12 589's 26/12/12 and 25/10 or 25/8/12 589's Does anyone have any experience with any of these combinations on a 300? I already have 26's and 25's and I don't want to lose too much power. Also, does anyone have any experience with the GBC Gators. Are they as good in the mud as 589's or bi/tri claws. Thanks alot. Kevin

Thanks for the info. I'm probably leaning toward the 26/12 and 25/10 589's unless I change my mind or have it changed before I order. Here in WV there are alot of hills, and I don't want to lose too much power. I guess I can always go into super low if I have to, but shifting will just slow me down when my buddies are already up the hill. BTW, how meaty are the 589's in person. I want the Cat to look as mean as I can without giving up all my power, and I haven't seen a good picture of 589's on a quad. Thanks

Ordered my 589's from Rocky Mountain ATV this morning. 26/12 rears and 25/10 fronts. Should be here by the end of next week. Can't wait to get them and try em out. Thanks for your help everyone. I hope they're as good as everyone says they are.
