Well I agree in one way but disagree in another way.
I think that after all these test they should have finially gotten used to the shifter, but I must say that I rather a conventional shifter over my heel/toe shifter. That doesn't mean I have not gotten used to it tho.

IF there is a quad that goes threw 4.3 ft of water stock then I want it. A Hummer can only do 30 inches stock.

Ditto. Your right, why don't they just get over it. Give it a rest, we know they can't master it. Funny thing Harley and the wanna be's (look a likes) all use a similiar shifter and I have yet to read one review condemning this set up on a Harley.

Every time an article is written about a Prarie they complain about the push button on the shifter. It's so damn easy to get. And if your just plain ignorant, it's written on the gear select- push button/no button.
These testers need a new job, I'll take theirs and give you some real info you can use
"the quad went through 4.3 foot of water before drounding out!" that's what matters

In reading the AC 250 story on the front page, and reading their comments on the rocker shifter, it kind of got me annoyed. Every time an AC is reviewed that is held as a down fall of the cat, now I have driven and owned many different types of bikes over the years with the conventional shifter and it took me all of about an hour to get used to the rocker shifter, my brother that is 15 mastered it in even less time. Now foregive me if i'm wrong but aren't these guys supposed to be professionals, if they haven't mastered it yet after all the tests they have done on the various cats maybe they should take into consideration that some people would rather the rocker shifter and move on.
