You do lose acceleration though. Very noticable. Also, that higher top speed will take a while to wind out with the larger diameter and the extra weight.

No, he didn't get another brand. I think he got bored with it or something. Its pretty slow here right now. Always is this time of year. It will pick up in the fall and again next spring when new models come out. I think that he might play around on some other sites or something to avoid a few certain personalities, but I'm not sure. I don't get on here as much right now myself. It does get old after a while, and you have to take a little time off it seems. Last year, I had about 200 more total posts than probably anyone on the forum. I quit coming around for a few months and a lot of people have passed me by. There are always the die hard guys here like Bill Cilliberti and Tree Farmer.

The Outlaws are wild! some some at an ATV place this past weekend. They seem to have deeper lugs than the Vamps. they actualy made the Vamps look tame. if that is even possible.

how much speed would you loose with 28 inch tireS"

Irichard: Hey, I think TxDoc has a set on his new Ruby, you may check with him. He's got some nice pics up as well. You thinking about getting a set?

Posted by: lrichard

Has anybody tried them yet and if so how are they working out? Are they true on there sizes? Do they clean out as good as the Vamps?

Well Cowboy at this time it is just thinking. I have 27" Vamps right now and I like them a lot. I will have to wear these tires down some before I get a new set. I was thinking of going with 28X12X12 Outlaws in the rear and the 28X10X12 Vamps in the front. Again that is just a thought for now. I always like to plan ahead for some reason or another. I was also wondering how these new Outlaws compared to the awesome Vamps in the mud. You know somebody that actually has them on their atv and not second hand info. Thanks for the reply.

I've seen the new 28" Vamps in person and they make my 27" Vamps look tame too.

Actually you wouldn't loose speed, you would gain speed. Your speedometer would not show you going faster though. Your wheels would be making the same amount of revolutions, but since the diameter of your tire is larger you would be covering more ground in turn making you go faster. Of course your engine has to have enough power too. All these 500 machines have enough power for that.
