I went out and purchased roxio easy cd & dvd v6.2.1.130 and it gets the video from my minidv film to my computer. I'm sure it'll work for the newer mini dvd cameras as well. then i use utube http://www.youtube.com/ to put it on the web. roxio has a tutorial that really helps.
