I'm liking it. I really like being able to subscibe to threads and know when people are posting in them. I haven't seen anything about this new revision that I don't like over the last version. What is it you don't like about it, or are you just not a fan of change?

Knutz,
What screen resolution are you running right now? That makes a huge difference in how much fits on one screen. Most people run 800x600 on an average 17" monitor. Those who want to 'see' a little more on their screen will go to say, 1024x768. People who have never changed the setting or aren't real experienced often have the default of 640x480 (which is VERY restrictive.) Basically the difference is the number of pixels displayed on the screen - each icon, character, border, everything you look at takes a certain number of pixels, instead of being based on a ruled measurement. So if you change from one of the lower resolutions (640x480 or 800x600) to a higher resolution (800x600 or 1024x768 or higher) you'll see a lot more on one screen than you had before and it really makes using a computer a lot easier. I personally have taken this to the extreme, and I'm running 1600x1200 resolution on my 19" Viewsonic monitor and I can display 4 800x600 windows at any given time and see all of them, effectively giving me the ability to see 4 times as much as the average PC user. If you (or anyone else for that matter reading this) has never adjusted the screen resolution, I encourage you to give it a try it (and try surfing a few web pages and notice how much nicer they start looking at higher resolution) then you may just find yourself looking at your PC/Internet in a whole new way.

This new software is a LOT faster. The old one would at times take 18,000 milliseconds to render a page. This one takes about 115 milliseconds on average. The reason why it loads slow sometimes still is because our T-1 connection to the Internet is saturated. We have a new one on order to fix that. Has nothing to do anymore with the software or the server.
As for not being able to find some things in the new software......spend some time with it before deciding if you do or don't like it. There is a big blue button on top that says PROFILE and another one that says HELP. You'll find everything you want to know in the HELP screens.

It's okay except for sometimes I get some email notification that someone responded to a post that's not even mine, and I have to log-on just to see what it is. It's still on the slow side most of the time and who is Warriorwoman by the way?Anyway I'm here for info so I don't worry to much about the pics, especially with a face like mine.

The new user titles are based upon the number of messages you've posted.
0 - 20 = Weekend Warrior
20 - 199 = Trailblazer
Over 200 = Pro Rider
The people who have titles that say "Quad Patrol" are moderators
Without the graphics it does seem to download faster

overall, it's not too bad, it'll take some getting used to, but i like all the new buttons, still loads too SLOW, but they're susposed to get that fixed within the next 45 days, i can't wait!!!

I'm not a huge fan of it myself. Some bit's I like, but parts are a pain. I don't like that the fact that it is slower than the other version if I want to see the graphics. I don't like the fact that as I type this, it doesn't all fit on my screen. I don't understand how to, or if I can change the little picture that goes with my name. I don't understand were the "rating" comes from[ie. pro rider, trail blazer, etc..] E-mailing the thread is cool. Over all, I think I liked the old version better.

I like it myself. Seems to load a bit faster and the extra graphics won't slow you down once in your cache. As for the face by your name, change it in your profile. Soon they'll have some ATV faces to choose from, just give take some time to get used to it. The more I play around with it the more I like it. They are working on it to add the missing features from the old version. Dbeck must have put in a wack of hours getting this all setup.
