It certainly is a bummer having atvs banned from the 7 county metro area, isn't it?

You sir are exactly correct, but I do not know any landowners. Therefore I am out of luck.

Anyone know of any ATV tracks in or around the minneapolis metro? The Closest I have found so far is about an hour from the cities. Hopefully someone out there knows of some tracks out there to ride that are a little bit less of a commute!

In the seven county metro area, you may ride:
on your own land
on land, other than your own, with written or verbal permission of the landowner, occupant or lessee
on land posted with signs specifically permitting the use of recreational motor vehicles
Inside the seven-county metro area, you may not ride:
On land you do not own, unless given written or verbal permission to ride on that land by the owner, occupant or lessee.
I would interpret this to mean it is ok to ride with landowners permission within the 7 county metro area.
