Do you guys ever ride behind Fairy Tale Forest on rt23? I hear from some friends that there are tons of trails there. I usually ride in Sterling Forest (is tough now that it became a state park) and West Milford. Do you guys over go to Millville, NJ? Is it cool to ride in the area you're talking about?

There are a bunch of trails all over West Milford
the problem is none of them are marked, or are on maps so most of the people stick to the trails thay know. Also almost all the trails are on newark water shead prop, so you are not supposed to be riding on them.

I usually go to Howell to ride but its private property and people are calling police on every 1,same w Harmony twnship,Jackson too so Im staying away.I have gone to Glover Vermont and ride fire roads which are fun to TT My Banshee sideways with the sweet wail of my toomeys Howling but its kinda boring afer awhile,1 note every 1 that I rode passed smiled and waved,something I dont know If ya see too much here in NJ.I ride behind Elizabeth Ave school sometimes and the brick factory.I work for the township so If the cops stop me All I have to do Is stop act polite and tell them where I work and hopefully I dont meet a cop in a bad moodLOL>That gets boring too tho not much space left back there.I have 3 options left kinda join CHatsworth,sell bikes or ride illegally.My aunts Godson lives up In Rockaway,Hes the front man for NON-Fiction or I believe They went back to being called HADES.RockNRoll will never die and neiher will 4 wheeling >

i ride mostly 2 places, off of greenpond rd. in rockaway township and up off of Rt 17 in mahwah behind a truck stop on a mountain. then my friends dad has 1000 acers of sand down in the pinelands...private just under 4 square miles to romp on

Hey everyone I live in Rockaway New Jersey and i am located right off of Green Pond Rd. Personally we have not found great riding, but are starting our own little course. We ride a on a small place called the Meridan Race track right off of Green Pond. I hear there is great riding up Green Pond Road but i have no idea where it is. I am aware of a place called the Oakland Sandpits in Oakland. They are great everyone says, and has great jumps with trails. Another place in Rockaway is the flats. It is located off of Fords Rode and is right by 84 lumber. Hope for some good replies thanks guys

the trailor is 4x8 silver trailor, it fits 1 quad. it tilts so you can drive up it and it locks into place. its in good condition! i just repainted it and theres a brand new floor on it. All it needs is lights. Im asking 300 for it or best offer.

well...the spot i go to in tuckerton has jumps, harder hill climbs...and lots of deep water.... and theres a different spot (never been to) that has lots of jumps and hill climbs...its a coal mine or something like that....i really want to get a ride going there.!

If someone puts a ride together post it. I run with 4-15 guys who all ride. We have no issues with travelling a short distance. I prefer legal areas to ride but hey if it's a good place to ride I'm there regardless.

I like to ride my Predator. The Big Bear is for clearing the driveway.... or deep mud ridingI took both with me last time out. The 4x4 is big and clunky where as the Predator moves right along. Oh and the Big Bear has a whopping 7/10 of a mile on it.

I haven't been there since my high school days. I know of many of the areas mentioned in this thread. I use to ride from Dover to Netcong via the RR tracks. Before the Trade Zone went in that use to be the sand pits and was some good riding.
I have a couple of enclosed trailers so traveling to do some riding is no big deal. I go to Daytona twice a year for both Bike Weeks."have event, will travel"

I'm in Montville, looking for places to ride in North NJ.I ride in the big piece that runs from lincoln park out to rt 80 by east hanover.the passaic river winds through it. It get pretty swampy and there is lots of mud.There are alot of trails(unmarked).Some have not been ridden in a while.Its kind of a wilderness type area.Anyone have any other places let me know. If you want to know how to get the big piece let me know

if you want to go to the big piece you have to go in through lincoln park.Off of pinebrook rd.
You would have to come rt 80 to rt 287 north to the montville exit and take 202 south into lincoln park.
Make a right at municipal and firehouse (traffic light) thats chapel hill rd take up over hill and it turns into pinebrook rd.from the light you made the right at you go about 1.5 miles and bear right at fork.
go a few hundred yards and on your left will be a masonic temple.no one is ever there.To your right is the Big peice.unload and go straight into the woods. Its generally muddy so be prepared.Head in and slightly to your left and you will run across some trails.The passaic river runs through it. Just make sure you remember how to get back out.bring a phone if you have one just incase.better to ride with a buddy if you can.Good luck and have fun

We were riding the Oakland sand pits for a while, kick ass spot but the cops came and said to stay out.
Stag Hill is safe but it sucks, very rocky and no jumps or anything. you'll be slipping the clutch in 1st all day if your on a sports quad.
Forget about the pine barrens, cop central. I got jacked myself up pretty good running from the cops a few months ago, haven't been back since. If someone knows a safe spot I'm all ears.

I live in Lincoln Park and my family has a horse farm in Franklin, Sussex County. There are trails that go to the aqua duct in the Gap but I have never ridden it....I bought my quad at Motorcyclr Mall and dude there said that Kearny and JC have two spots...go figure. I know people ride the abbey in andover off 206....I got a two place trailer so lets ride!!!!!!!!!

I live on Cozy Lake Rd. I ride there all the time. The area is patrolled, so you have to be somewhat careful.
