Screwed again by our left wing/anti-off-road Governor and legislature! McMillan is a long time desert racer, and Willard is a snow mobiler. Still, the other four are clearly enviros.
There will be a 4:2 split on every vote, and you know that that is the way they designed it to be! We will lose out...every time!

(2) The act establishes the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Commission, consisting of 7 members, with 3 of the members appointed by the Governor.
This bill would increase the membership of the commission to 9members, with 5 members appointed by the Governor, subject to Senate confirmation.
From the new bill (SB742) that defines and authorizes the OHV Division for another 10 years. The political influence directly by the Governor grows from the current situation. If he buckles under the Sierra Club types, this can make for the most anti-OHV group yet.
This in addition to the forced alignment of the Commission and the Division staff via the adoption of a strategic plan could impact even more what actually gets funded and implemented.
