Myself (from Evansville, IN) and a few online friends (from Cincinnati, OH) goto badlands in Attica, IN a lot. We also goto Turkey Bay in KY, and S-Tree in KY. If you ever want to tag along just send me your e-mail address and I'll let you know when we are going again.

I was curious what the Badlands are all about . Is the area mainly for mx type riding or are there any real trails to go on and if so how long are they? Iam planning on visiting family in Rockville Ind just 40 miles or less south of Attica on US 41.

Sounds like the Badlands doesn't have any lengthy trails to go on just some short runs and a track for the sport running crowd. Thanks fellows. My machine is mainly set up for trails and some mudding. Mac

The Badlands does have much to offer, considering its only 735 acres. It is a in-active gravel pit, so there is plenty of sand and loose rock. There are woods that surround the entire area. You can take a perimeter trail and hardly ever get out of the woods, but you need to be careful, since they let jeeps in the mud holes have gotten deeper.

Hey hillix lynvill is awsome to go to but for 300ex, don't go after it rained because there's
nothing but mud and slick areas there so some time maby you, justin, and I can get up there for the day. MAC attica is a harsh place theres places where you can take you'r sport atvs but not many, theres mud and had bumby hills so i hop i helped you see ya.

Come to Franklin Co. IN. Go to Haspin Acres in Laurel, not far from Brookville. $8 admission and you can stay all weekend. There are a couple of MX tracks sand drags and 750 acres to ride on. Mostly wooded trails, mud holes, and lots of hills. Plenty of room to camp and I believe you can stay all week if you want to (for the $8).

quadrunner, are you talking about "dugger"?-the place with powerline-hills that used to be strip-pits? Or is there some other place that I need to be aware of? I have heard that a group called D.I.R.T. is turning dugger into a park. Just wondering if we're talking about the same place or not. (Hope this wasn't too confusing)

keep looking for info on REDBIRD, located near Dugger Indiana on west side of state. The State was given or bought, several 100's of acres of Amax Coal Property to create trail riding for atvs , bikes etc. and I hear is gonna be awesome, lots of stripper type hills and water.

The badland is sweet! It has around 735 acres.It isn't hard to find from Rockville either. When you get into Attica take the first street left and go down to the flashing red light. Take another left and you can't miss it.(behind high school). $15 admission-(9:00am to dark)must have some type of boots & helmet. dunes-track-mud-woods-and a few trails that can tear your sh** up!
